Gm Design Development specialises in developing technically challenging products across all sectors including medical, healthcare, technical & consumer.

Prior to setting up Gm Design Development in 2008, Director Graeme Maisey was a Senior Design Engineer at Pearson Matthews, a London design consultancy specialising in the medical and healthcare sector and worked there for over 12 years. He managed small teams of designers and engineers to develop cutting edge medical and healthcare devices, bring numerous products successfully to the market place.
Graeme has experience developing blood glucose systems for Hypoguard , Medisys, Menarini & Arkray. He has worked with Biocompatibles on glaucoma devices, Sterilisation devices for Chiroxia, Oncology beds for Elekta Oncology and catheter devices for Johnson & Johnson. He also has experience developing non-medical products, such a range of encoder units for Tandberg Television.
His strengths lie in getting products to market and has very strong engineering skills and is an expert in ProENGINEER, handling complex assemblies, advanced surface modelling and design for manufacture, particularly injection moulded components. He is also very experienced in managing projects and ensuring projects run on time and to budget, coordinating all the relevant suppliers.
