GMA Design is a company based in Dorset designing & project managing a variety of build projects throughout Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire.

At GMA design, we undertake all aspects of the design process throughout Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset, first taking the initial thoughts and desires of the client and then progress the project through to obtaining the appropriate planning permission.

The process usually starts with a site meeting at the property or land, where we discuss the clients requirements and create a wish list. We discuss the ways and how they would like to use the property, taking into consideration the neighbours, the surrounding area and environment, and how the new project will look.

To assist in the visualization of the project, we undertake sketch proposals (if required) to assist in further discussions.

Once agreed, 2D technical drawings are produced, illustrating the proposals so far, and discussed again until the client is fully satisfied with the design.

3D drawings are sometimes requested as this gives a true aspect of the finished project in relationship to its surroundings.

Once the plans have been agreed with the client, they are then submitted for planning approval.
