Extensive range of equipment at good prices . However they often change. For example I purchased a coat for £150 and six moths later the exact same coat is on the "reduced" rack for £220

Helpful staff and good quality outdoor equipment etc. One of the larger go outdoors with a large selection of items.

Store is very hit and miss. Love the Exeter store went there for years before this one opened closer to me. Have some very knowledgable staff but also so really poor staff very hit or miss.

The bike dept seems to be staffed badly especially weekends and had trouble getting any help so didn’t buy my last bike there. Couldn’t even find out if they had a lock in stock on a Saturday as the bike guy was off!

Have been in for a jacket and knowone could tell me if they had the jacket and they wanted me to come back after their berghaus expert finished their break!

Final straw was £120 pair of walking shoes that fell apart in months. I replaced the laces after 6 months as they feel to pieces but staff said laces don’t last very long. Then the sole came away from the base and various reviews on the website show many people have the same issue with this model and have had a replacements as they also consider that not on for the price of the item. The So called manager Dan refused to replace mine and said all he could do was send them away for 6 weeks and see if berghaus would replace them, they are also advertised with a life time warranty against failures. Totally against the consumer rights act of 2015 as my contract of sale is with GO outdoors not berghaus!

After years of being a happy customer this is a joke.

Very friendly helpful staff. And most of what they sell is excellent. Have spent lots in their. And had only one niggle. A camp bed I found really hard to force together. After lots of use its now OK. But overall... I can not Bea this store. Well done all the staff. Give yourselves a pat on the back.

l purchased some camping gear when the store opened first, using the discount card is best to optimise your spending power. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They are second to none when it comes to replacing items that malfunction. Would recommend a visit, well stocked
