Sadly, the store seems to have embraced allowing animals into the store a little too much.... Its now Sunday afternoon and there are 6 dogs in store at the same time... As a non dog lover this is annoying at best. If I wanted to go to a petting zoo and smell damp dog, I would. I came to shop.... With humans.

I can usually get everything I need from Go Outdoors, so it's convenient, and their sale events make it more affordable too!

Purchased a pair of Keen Kuta Sandals, they were perfect except after 2 months the soles had nearly worn out (I only wore them on a weekend). Took them back to Go Outdoors, they reported the complaint to Keen, unfortunately Keen didn't want to know. Go outdoors very kindly took my side and exchanged them for another sandal. Thank you for your help and willingness to exchange. Great team over there.

Excellent selection, huge store and if it hasn't got what you want it doesn't exist. Plus their price guarantee is amazing, find a price cheaper elsewhere even online and they'll not only match it but beat it by 10%! I got an extra £45 off a Berghaus jacket. The staff were very helpful and not too pushy. Very happy.

I had my first visit to the shop to buy a pair of walking boots (18/3/17). I was served by Ian in footwear. He was the loveliest, most friendly, helpful and informative man. Nothing was a problem to him and I feel he went above and beyond his role to assist. He highlighted the price promise to me and saved me a lot of money. He taught me how to tie my boots as I am a complete novice. I then went to the checkout and was served by a lovely young dark haired girl, again so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this shop and I will be returning.

Prices are ok (not amazingly cheap) but to get the ok prices you will need to pay £10 a year for membership. A large outdoors store, with good variety of stock

Went in the store and stood beside the cycling counter for over 5 minutes with no customer service whatsoever, walked to the only person I could see on the shop floor which was the guy who welcomed us into the store and asked him if anyone serving, he immediately went to some staff who were sat "staff training" discussing walking boots, they didn't have time to serve me lol. I was there to buy a £699:00 bike. Customers come second, an absolute joke. No wonder the store is financially struggling, slowly disappearing up there own ........
