Good choice of outdoor clothing and equipment. Really helpful staff too.

Ok for some things, equipment, kit etc, but have very poor stock for clothes, when questioned they have always "just sold out and waiting on deliveries". Trouble is it never changes. Would use more if they carried more stock. Also recently, very scruffy out side, ideal place if you are looking for a big pile of cigarette ends. I tend to pick up stuff I need when out and about now, which is a shame.

Dog's are welcome too, staff are very friendly and helpful, will definitely use again.

Very disappointing, more like a cloths shop. It used to have a good stoke for most things for campers, caravans, camping walking, all outdoor stuff. An not as cheap anymore

Ok I have often found gooutdoors competively priced. However it's often a struggle to grab the stock as they don't always have the full ranges at all branches and do not transfer stock from branch to branch I understand. I leave this review purely based on a very very helpful member of staff called Bradley at Basingstoke branch who went out on a limb to arrange a rucksack to come from another branch for me. His quest he completed and this arrived at branch for myself. Unfortunately because of my experience from the past and the uninterested attitude from head office and knowing one man Bradley couldn't control the whole situation I lost faith waiting and purchased from another supplier. However because of this member of staffs positive attitude Gooutdoors Basingstoke have not lost a future customer and I will consider making future purchases from the Basingstoke branch. Brad for that reason deserves recognition. Thanks Brad and sorry gooutdoors on this occasion we could not do business

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Large range of products on sale, unfortunately the item I was interested in was out of stock.

The best customer service I ever had!!!! Perfect example to everyone else. Quality products. Unfortunately bought a faulty item for the first time, can happen to be honest to any one. Spoke to customer service on the phone as wasn't sure what policies they have in place regarding footwear. Have been advised to take back to the store, where they offered the exchange for the same pair which wasn't in stock, SA had to order on line which was done straight away in the store with free next day delivery to your home address. I've received the new pair within 18h. early in the morning.
Very impressed the way they handled my enquiry and highly recommend.

Go outdoors Basingstoke has great staff that are friendly and really helpful from my own experience.
My son saved for six months for a calibre bossnut. As a mountain biker of 20 years i was skeptical of buying a mountain bike from go outdoors, i had to admit it. How wrong i was! i met John at Basingstoke branch he knows his stuff his advice is the best. Not just a guy interested in a quick sale he's interested in helping and providing good service, he phones when parts are available and provides advice from a level of experience few bike shops can challenge.

What excellent customer service! Firstly female member of staff extremely helpful whilst I was choosing a jacket which I then purchased. I left the store only to later find that the security tag had not been removed. Went all the way back and approached 2 male members of staff who asked if they could assist. I pointed out that the security tag had not set off the alarm as I walked in and hadn't done so when I left earlier.
Male, who I believe may have been the manager, promptly apologised, asked where I came from and asked the other staff member to give me a gift voucher! I said this was unnecessary as the jacket was in a sale on the discount card and had been extremely cheap but he insisted.
I have NEVER been given such excellent customer service before anywhere but have to say if ever I need help in this store all the staff have been very helpful in the past.

The staff here were excellent helping me choose a bike for my daughter and did an excellent job of putting the bike together quickly and making her feel special.
