The 2 people we dealt with on our visit today knew exactly how to treat us & i nformed us of order procedure etc ..
I will definately be coming here again. Lots of stock , everything you need for outdoors !!

Bought merrily tough mudder shoes. They are supposed to be for tough mudder events. Total waste of time. Only took. Two steps up the travelator on a rough rider event and ended on my knees. No grip whatsoever. Would definitely not recommended these merrily tough mudder shoes. Cheers.

Great selection, helpful staff, good prices. Plenty of parking. Have bought walking boots and clothes here, never disappointed. Highly recommended.

Returned leaking boots, told 3 days later manufacturer won't honor warranty. Sent to manufacturer directly and got replacement no problem at all. Doubt they even sent my boots off as shipping to and from Germany takes longer than 3 days. Why would they do that???

Bike staff and a service provided that is second to none, and they could not do enough to help me.

Having bought an top-end MTB from Go Outdoors online, and it arriving in a box, I decided I would prefer to have Go Outdoors set it up for the first time for me, so I popped into my local Go Outdoors in Stockport to check this would be feasible - this was where I met Steve.

Steve was as enthusiastic a bike mechanic as you could ever hope for, with decades of experience building and servicing various bikes - the perfect person for me to be confident with leaving an expensive bike in the capable hands of. He was very flexible with what I wanted doing and how much they would charge, including installing upgrade components I had bought from elsewhere, and from start to finish Steve and his team could simply not do enough to help me.

Pleasantly surprisingly, this store did not remotely have the feel of a nationwide chain who just want to shunt bikes out of the door - it felt far more akin to that of a local bike shop, where you will often find an experienced bike mechanic who is as keen to do as good a job on your bike as their own, and will bend over backwards to meet any requirements you might have.

Needless to say, I could not be more pleased with or recommending of the service I received - thank you Steve and Go Outdoors Stockport bike department!

Very helpful staff and loads of fantastic gear at good prices. Well worth a visit.

Another day another visit to Go outdoors, always try them first as they are reasonabley priced and have decent options on price and quality,

My first visit was excellent, staff were more than happy to recommend items and ensure they would be ordered for when I wanted them. The visit to collect however: I was Ignored for 15 minutes, 3 members of staff walked past when I tried to speak to them, another member of staff stopped, looked directly at me as I was speaking and then walked off, the person I managed to flag down for assistance was less than helpful and just walked off with no explanation of what he was doing. Waited another 5 minutes before being told I'd be dealt with in the next 10 minutes. At this point I walked out. Even more frustrating as I phoned ahead with an actual time I'd arrive to collect the goods, being in a rush and wasting 30+ minutes I left with no products. 2 stars as 1 and a half was not possible!

Great place for outdoors people, great prices - usually 10% off, with spot sales on varied gear quite often.
Loses a star as they don't stock North Face stuff any more for some reason.
