Dear all, As of August 21st we have been asked by our management to close this facebook page along with other fire stations in Surrey that also have their own station FB pages this is not being lead by the administrators for this page or our station crews and although this saddens us immensely we feel at this time this is right thing we have to do. However we would just like to say It has been a huge delight being able to communicate and share information with you over the ...last few months and we have really have appreciated your help and support. We hope you have found it useful and hope you have enjoyed it. Please feel free to feedback in the comments section over the next few days your feedback is always welcome however we are unable to comment on the situation .

Godalming crew along with Guildford and Woking and Haslemere are currently tackling a Barn fire in the Dunsfold area with 1500 bales of hay stored inside unfortunately there won’t be a lot left on this occasion.

Today the crew from godalming and supported by numerous neighbouring and across the border stations attended large wildfire near Godalming 🚒🚒🔥🔥 pictures curtesy of our local community board 👍
Please remember the conditions out there are tinder dry and a small fire can become big and out of control very quickly so if you do see a fire please report it by dialling 999 and remember stay safe.

🚒🔥 we are currently dealing with a large heath fire in Roke Lane Witley. Please avoid the area. We have 16 fire and rescue units in attendance and a drone helping us get a view of the incident. We are also getting a hand from our colleges from Hampshire fire and rescue. 🔥

🚒🚒🔥🔥 Godalming Fire Station open day this Saturday 10:00 -16:00 plenty of fun for all the family. Come an meet the firefighters and and see all the equipment we use. We will even let you sit inside the fire engine and if your good we might even sound the siren (of course this is for the big kids (parents) 😊 there will be plenty of Fire safety advice available on the day also. Hopefully there might even be guest appearances from special appliances from neighbouring stations through the day but this depends on opperational duties.
St John’s will also hopefully be supporting us with a CPR demonstration.

Tuesday night is training night at the station and S24P1 and S24O1 were busy carrying out 4 x safe and well visits for local residents who requested them.

Fire engine from Godalming was mobilised this afternoon to St/by at Farnham fire station and then from there we were sent to Camberley fire station to St/by on route we were mobilised to deal with flooding in private house in Bagshot a busy afternoon for the godalming crew 🚒🚒

Fire engine from Godalming was mobilised this afternoon to deal with a large unattended bonfire out of control in the Busbrisge area.
Whilst the rain may have dampened the ground a little on the surface the ground underneath remains tinder dry. Please remain vigilant & if you see a fire report it via 999 and remember stay safe.
