JTI (Japan Tobacco International) have kept in touch since their corporate visit with Godfrey Robinson House. Residents played host to friends in preparing a breakfast of full English or bacon butties. JTI even helped with the washing up and played a few games with the residents.

Would you have some free time to volunteer to support Julie at College? - Julie is independent in her electric wheelchair, but would welcome some moral support in her college class on a Tuesday 1pm - 3pm. Someone who could drive would be an advantage, we have a small one wheelchair vehicle. Training and a full package of support from me for this role. Our "Soups On" fundraiser last night was a great success. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and joined us on the night The Beetroot, Blue Cheese and Dill garnished with pea shoots was my favourite soup. Puddings were out of this world, the Rhubarb and Panna Cotta with dried Rhubarb shavings was stunning. A massive thank you must go out to our 12 participating chefs, who did it all for free, especially David Nowell from the Tickton Grange who made it all possible, thank you, thank you, thank you from everyone at Godfrey Robinson House.

How can we ever thank these two fundraisers ... Tony Forster and David Nowell (Tickton Grange Hotel).... between them we have 15 chefs on board for our “Soups On” event Thursday 30th May at the Mercure Grange Park.
