The name Gold Star Taxis has become synonymous with prompt efficient service due to the public recognising that the professional staff operating Gold Star's network are amongst the friendliest and most courteous cabbies in Hertfordshire. Today, Gold Star Taxis are equipped with the most sophisticated computer and satellite navigation systems to dispatch data.
Gold Star Taxis provide a true 24 hour service covering Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages.
We offer a variety of services from local taxi trips, airport runs, school runs, local authority contracts and company account work.
We are using the most advanced technology available on the market offering the best and the most accurate service to our customers.
Thanks to the GPS (Global Positioning Systems) installed in our taxis, we have an exact reading in our system of where the taxis are situated, not only so we can send the nearest taxi to you, but also for security purposes.
One other features of our award winning system is the ring back facility. With this facility our system automatically rings your phone twice indicating that your taxi is waiting outside. Therefore, no more waiting in the rain and cold. There is no need to answer the ring back. Our ring back number is: 01438- 727277.
For your safety, we also provide a text back service. This provides you with important information about the car, which has been sent by us. This includes the registration number, colour, make and model of the car so you can be certain that the car you are getting into is from Gold Star Taxis.
There is a variety of Taxis available in our fleet from four seater saloons and estates up to eight seaters with wheelchair facility aiming to give better service to our customers everyday.
All drivers working with Gold Star Taxis are licensed by Stevenage Borough Council, most with many years experience.
Gold Star Taxis are a Licensed Private hire operator, Licensed by Stevenage Borough Council.
