What a fantastic little gem of a place, shame we all couldn't get in, but will definitely be coming back

We had a great time celebrated my sons birthday staff are so friendly loved the rooftop bar

We celebrated our engagement at the Golden Bee and had such a great night!! Georgie was fantastic at helping us make the reservation and making sure everything was in place for the day, the Manager on the night was absolutely fantastic too (sorry I don't know your name) and was so attentive, and the bar men were so friendly and you all made our night such a great night! Thank you guys! X

Roof Top vibes!! Simply amazing. Cocktails and House music is a perfect combination.

Nice music and the drinks my cocktail drink was out of thus world my friend ordered it for me

My sister had her 30th birthday there yesterday on the roof terrace it was a fantastic evening nice weather good music and a great atmosphere

My experience at this pub is consistently positive! If you've not been then I highly recommend it- yes it's expensive, but it's worth every penny you pay!

Joined my colleagues for a great evening here last week. Nice open air VIP rooftop deck with fire pit, heat lamps, views and terrific music from the DJ. Waitstaff and managers were very attentive. Highly recommended for a nice summer evening out in London!

I celebrated my birthday here and had a fabulous night. The staff are lovely, the drinks are yummy and the terrace is gorgeous. I loved it and will be back again soon!

I bloody love this place! Great bar and door staff, really friendly. Amazing vibe, music and drinks. I look the roof for a chilled out drink or downstairs for dancing. I will keep recommending it! See you guys soon

Awesome bar tender lady (long blonde hair), so sweet and always remembered our drinks. Bangin tunes, good atmosphere, disappointed roof terrace was no access but we were told when we paid on entrance. Owner looked after us and dealt with trouble promptly, thanks guys x

Amazing venue. Had an area reserved on the top level and all staff were really accommodating. Special mention to door staff and the lady with the clipboard who put up with my ridiculously long guestlist and let as many people as they could up to the roof terrace even though i went over my quota! Thanks for helping to make it a birthday to remember

Think I preferred the roof top bar to how it was before it felt more romantic and quaint, but I can see how the referb works better. Especially with bar central and bigger was definitely a lot busier.

Overall good night would deffo recommend 👍

Had my girlfriends and two other girls 30th birthdays on saturday there was a good vibe door staff were sound as .... music was decent ... roof terrace was really nice ... cocktails were sweet ... pricy as can be expected in london as im a manc hahah

Only thing I would change is that the reserved signs are too discreet (like small signs under the glass table tops)..... so constantly having to ask people to not sit in the seats we had spare and reserved





Maybe you should use a new type of sign /ornate / fancy / noticeable reserved sign

Celebrated my bday here last night. Thanks to Gosh, the manager who was awesome from the time I made the enquiry, to the event itself. Great rooftop bar with a great drinks menu. Not the usual bank breaking charges or snooty crowd you would expect from London bars. The only downside was, that once they closed the rooftop bar, it got extremely crowded inside...can of sardines!... But it's still Highly recommended!

Only went to the roof top terrace.



Bartender had no idea how to make a cocktail and it tasted awful. Barely palatable. Even drinks with 3 ingredients seemed to way out of how they should be (ever heard of muddling lime?). A real shame considering the premium price, you should not be getting amateur hour. May have something to do with all the bar staff throwing bottles back and forth with each other and customers are only a secondary priority.



Music was really good and the setting and layout was nice.



If you like guys with loafers with no socks, tucked in shirts with jumpers tied around the shoulders and girls in cheap cocktail dresses then this is the place to go.



I wouldn't go back again as it's not value for money in the slightest and way too pretentious.

Music is wikkid and so is the crowd to an extent. Staff were not helpful AT ALL, we had a table area of which we weren't escorted too so we had no idea where we was going, no reserved tag for our table, drinks were being collected when we weren't looking (from staff) glasses on the floor rolling around and broken glass on seats (which I sat on) no air conditioning at all so an absolute sweat box no exaggeration! Only good thing was the crowd and music that's it. Disappointed

Tried to go in for drinks on a Friday afternoon and was greeted by a lady looking us up and down on the door saying we can’t enter unless we’ve booked. It was a Friday afternoon? I never leave reviews but definitely not a good first impression.

very rude door girl that did everything in her power to show us that we are not welcome and that we are bothering her.

After we asked how much the entry is, she told us that we shouldn’t even come in.



We left and went to another place close .. ending up in a great great night.

I even ended up with a hot blond chick at her place. �

WARNING DO NOT BOOK AT THE GOLDEN BEE!!! I made a booking and tried to cancel due to a family emergency and was told no money would be debited from my account, then 2 months later they had kept my card details and debited my account. When I rang my bank they said they had actually typed in my card details yesterday even tho they said it has been pending since the day I made the booking!! Which was 2 months ago.



I am really upset by their lack of empathy due to a situation which was out of my control. I am really disappointed that they charged my card 2 months after this had happened. I will not be going back.

The Golden Bee - What used to be a lovely spot has now been transformed since it's re-opening into a honey pot for out of London people who enjoy guest lists, crowds , expensive drinks and an opportunity for confrontation ! What a shame !

Shit!! Asked at the front if we can go to the rooftop bar, went in and paid for drinks and then told we can't go to the rooftop bar as you had to book!! Not happy! Left ASAP!

Not welcomed and hated by the staff at the door from the first impression. All of my 10 friends went to Hoxton. Much bette than GB �

If it was possible to give negative stars I would. What an absolute disgrace of a venue. The only nightspot I've ever been to in which I have feared for my safety at the hands of the thuggish bouncers who, after witnessing events on Saturday night, I would describe as frustrated cage fighters trying to live out their dreams by beating customers senseless. Even after knocking someone unconcious outside on the street, they proceeded to call anyone who would challenge them "c*nts" and were also shouting at customers to "suck my d*ck". One of the most disturbing and traumatising episodes I have ever witnessed on a night out. Vile. Whatever you do, don't put your safety in danger by going to this abhorrent nightclub.
