��Was a nice trip to town today knowing the shop was back open! New shop but only over the road from the old one so not hard to find!

Was treated 1st class by the manager Ashkan and loving my new hair cut! Propa fresh and to the bone! Love it!!! If there was a button for 100 star rating that's what they would get!� �

I go here quite regularly to get a hot towel and shape up the Manager Ashkan is a excellent barber! He does a exceptional job everytime. The staff are super friendly and always offer a tea or a coffee as soon as you sit down. Highly recommended �

Have been going here for a while. Recently decided to grow my hair but was starting to look a bit of mess Adi took his time to listen to me about what I was aiming for and I'm very pleased with results. Would not go anywhere else and reasonable price. Thanks again.

Great place to get a trim, the shop is clean and a great size with a women’s section down stairs. On arrival was greeted by a nice welcoming girl, was offered a drink, which I had and that was a Turkish coffee which was really good and a sweet. Ashkan is I think the manager there, I had spoke with him over messenger before my visit as I was coming from Northampton.



My friend got in straight away for his cut with another member of staff, I was waiting for ashkan, now this place has lots of staff and at a guess can do around 7 people at once. I did have to wait for a while but I did not have an arranged appointment time and if I had wanted to see anyone then I would have been seen quicker but ashkan was with another customer.



After my Turkish coffee I was in the chair, I explained the style I wanted and was given good advice regarding my hair and what would suit it best. Ashkan takes pride in his haircuts and his customer service, I had asked for haircut, beard shape up and my eyebrows doing. But not only was I given a great haircut which ashkan look his time with and made sure I was happy with it plus it was washed and styled after and my beard done, ashkan got the girl who was I think a general assistant to give me I think it was a facial massage n this face cream I think it is was applied also plus they used a machine that blows like hot steam (sorry I don’t know the names of the treatments) but I felt great and I had my eye brows threaded, first time having that n it hurt lol but it’s impossible I think to have that and it not hurt lol they also do I think it’s face masks, they have everything you need to come out feeling great.



Overall, my friend said I was in there nearly 2 hours, I’m not sure but don’t come here if you want a rushed service, this place is about quality and ashkan provides that and so do his staff, nothing is to much trouble. I will be coming brum once a month to come here without fail, the price was really good also and I was that impressed I tipped £10.

Ashkan the manager is probably the best barber in Birmingham. Attention to detail for him is obviously paramount. A true perfectionist and friendly too! I cant recommend his barber shop enough!

Having been a regular customer for the past 5years across the five ways store and now the new city centre store I visited yesterday for a simple trim, i have recommended this hairdressers to many friends and work colleagues and have always been happy with the service at the old Queensway shop before it closed, BUT yesterday I visited around 12.30, the guy cutting my hair answered his mobile phone 3 times whilst attempting to cut my hair, the service was awful and the barber was out the door chatting to who was obviously calling him from outside before I was out the door. I did question a few times if it was being cut correctly, waking up today shows me that it was a terrible cut, each time the price changes from 12£ to £15 to even £18... for the same cut?? I doubt I will return again. Very disappointed.

Went to the one at Shirley have cut all the back of my head so I left a review the man called "cos" removed it and then put a picture up of the cut just after he finished and saying what's wrong with this? I have picture of my head the day after my cut and it's awful avoid at all costs

Last time I went to have a beard shape and hot towel treatment I was very disappointed! I have been on previous occasions and it's been okay. My beard is my pride and joy and I expect to be given full attention when I have it trimmed. On this occasion the hairdresser seemed to be unclear what I wanted and proceeded to talk incessantly in Turkish to his colleagues throughout, answered his mobile phone on two occasions and didn't treat me with the attention customers should deserve. The result was my beard has taken 3 months to get back to the shape I wanted! More care needs to be given in training staff in customer care skills!

Don't bother making an appointment to get your eyebrows threaded. Made one for 9am, 1 person in the salon cutting hair told me she's coming. Still sitting there at 9:25 with no explanation so walked out.



Think they need to realise you make an appointment at a certain time for a reason. Appointment was only booked and confirmed yesterday. Only went there as my normal person is on holiday. Won't bother again.

Been using this place for a couple of years but like lots of other people have been saying, in recent times the quality of barber working there has fallen off of a cliff. You might get lucky and get a barber who knows what he is doing but it's far more likely you'll get someone who will hack at your neck for half an hour before apologising about it. It's gone from a place I'd recommend to a place I'd actively tell people to avoid, hence this review.



PS. Anyone know any good barbers in town?
