Six Goldsmiths alumni have been awarded Fellowships by the Royal Society of Literature as part of its inaugural 40 Under 40 scheme.
The initiative is intended to honour the achievements of Britain’s younger writers, and to bring different perspectives into the Society’s existing Fellowship of over 500.
Novelists Lucy Caldwell, Amy Sackville, Evie Wyld and Ross Raisin were recognised along with poets Emily Berry and Sophie Collins.

The George Wood Theatre has been the site of prayers, pageants and performances since the building’s original construction as a chapel for the Royal Naval School in 1854.
This year it will be re-opened after a redevelopment as a multiple-purpose theatre space that will provide the College with a contemporary theatre seating up to 200 people and two new studio spaces fit for 21st century creative practice.

The V&A is dedicating its next exhibition to fashion icon and alumna Mary Quant and you can be part of it!
Have any Quant clothing or stories from the 60s & 70s? The public is being urged to turn out cupboards and attics for the Quant clothes they could never bear to throw away, and to submit photographs, films and memories of themselves wearing them, either by email (maryquant@vam.ac.uk) or social media (#WeWantQuant)
