I actually can’t believe how negative some of these reviews are....I guess some people just like to moan about everything!
Me & my husband have visited a few times since discovering the shop a few months ago. All the staff have always been very welcoming and helpful. Even remembering which driver my husband purchased on a previous visit and asked how it was going.
Like other people have said it really is like an Aladdin’s cave for golfers! There is so much choice of everything and great prices!
After looking in other golf shops in the area for electric trolleys, I am so glad we found this place! The manager was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us to chose the right one and it was a much better price than other places we had looked.
I also like the fact that a lady works there, she was very helpful getting me different sizes of trousers and finding clothing that would go well together.
The guy upstairs couldn’t do enough for us when we were looking for shoes.
This place really is a hidden gem and we wouldn’t go anywhere else now! Definitely worth the hour drive!

My own experience has been online only. On both occasions the price was genuinely fantastic, the delivery was quick, tracking provided and goods arrived in perfect condition. Would love it if the website was updated more often as I am sure there are more bargains to be had.

I strongly suggest serious customer service training for the staff. After leaving my car for a service at a local garage I thought I would pop in to take a look at what was on offer. I am considering a new set of clubs but will not be purchasing them from this store. Maybe the fact that I was in t shirt and jeans was not to their liking but I was totally ignored whilst other customers were helped. This kind of attitude is the reason why the number of players and fans is in decline. I will be spending my money elsewhere and can suggest a number of good customer service courses should you be interested

Purchased a chipper today took it to my driving range to try it out after 8/10 shot the head snapped off!! phoned the store only to be told the chipper should only be hit 10 yards yet some greens on my course are up to 40 yards long, I could not find the head so they would not do anything about it.
They have just lost a good customer for the sake of a £20 putter

only 3 stars so far as not received the items as yet. Ordered 27th April and has been a Bank Holiday so will give benefit of doubt. Needed items by this weekend so cutting it fine and unable to confirm by phone or email when I will get. First purchase based on great prices, didnt read reviews until I searched for reviews after not being able to get hold of anyone there. Some of the reviews are a little worrying and the responses from the manager quite colourful. He appears quite rude but have to say a little dry and witty. He could just be misunderstood ! Will reserve full judgement until I receive the items. Come on Golf depot dont let me down.

Just read the Shop Mangers's comments on a review provided by an inexperienced Customer Wendy Peters. Absolutely disgusted with the tone and the arrogance of this man.

Obviously doesn't understand Customer Service and how to handle himself with any dignity. I was genuinely about to make a purchase of a set of Irons this weekend.

Purely based on this mans comments I will stay clear this establishment and advise my friend, colleagues, club members to stay clear. I will also be publishing my disgust in a national golfing publication that I contribute to as an ex professional

Absolutely gobsmacked!!!!

Cannot believe some of the reviews on here, the store was recommended by a friend of mine. Bought a driver and set of irons for a great price which the helpful manager suggested, he threw in a free cart bag worth 100 quid. Also said have a try of the clubs anything not right with them come back and they'll sort it. Which they did when the driver didn't feel right, swapped it no problems. Been back today to get another couple of clubs the staff in there couldnt be more helpful. Great store, great service, great prices!

As a female newcomer to golf I was slightly nervous about my first visit to the shop after reading some of the reviews on here. My experience couldn't haven't been better. I was made to feel welcome as soon as I entered the shop & after a couple of minutes of looking at trolleys, a male sales assistant approached me offering help. He was knowledgeable, professional & completely made me feel at ease after explaining I was fairly new to the game. I purchased the recommended trolley & he gave me advice about other products which could help my game. I am looking forward to returning & adding to my golf kit. Many thanks.
