We turned up here after travelling around the area for some time and not finding anywhere to eat. Going in we weren't sure what to expect but the food was truly excellent. I had the beef burger, home made ( you can tell!) and perfectly cooked so that the juices ran clear, very nice salad. He had home made turkey and ham pie; and it was definitely a home made pie; with lovely mash and fresh veg.
And served on warm plates! Big portions and entirely delicious ( except the chips).
I so very much prefer this type of decent fresh food to the pre cooked; chilled plasticky presented and expensive rubbish which some places serve.
We must praise the staff who were busy but very helpful and friendly.
Well done silloth golf hotel; and we may be back tomorrow night as well.

Stayed numerous times for work. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is very good and great value for money. Breakfasts are superb. I'm staying again next week

Visited earlier this month for lunch. Staff friendly and efficient. Fish and chips were a good sized portion and of good quality. Smoked salmon salad had generous amount of smoked salmon. Pleasant surroundings...would recommend.
A nice hotel which is in the heart of the small town. Good seaviews, big dinner portions big old style rooms too. The WiFi is fast so ideal for modern traveling lol. Free parking outside too!
Sunday carvery, excellent value and quality. Best to book, just in case.
Basic, old fashioned... Clean, comfy, and really lovely views over the Solway. Nice place.
