Whatever your diet or health and fitness goals, tracking calories is a huge part of keeping on-track.
Features of Just Calories... • Quick to launch • Quick to save • Track your progress with a playful physics-based data visualisation • HealthKit integration so your goal increases when you exercise • Data tracked here is made available to other apps via HealthKit • Build your own personal library by saving your favorite foods for intelligent suggestions • Get insights into your eating habits through a selection of charts • Calorie calculator makes decoding awkwardly presented food packaging nutritional information easy • This app does one thing well by avoiding unreliable barcode scanners, detailed nutritional information that you'll never look at or "helpful" blog posts between you and what you came to the app to do: track the calories you just consumed. With nothing slowing you down, you'll stick with the habit. Long term.

“I started calorie counting last year because I didn’t know how much I needed to eat on days I’d done a lot of exercise and found myself filling up on snacks at the end of the day.
After using a few different apps but disliking their clunky user experience, too many features getting in the way of tracking my food quickly and consistently, and ugly icons, I decided to build my own.
All I really wanted to know was how many calories I’d eaten so far today and whether they were... “real food” or “junk food”.
After a few iterations and the injection of a bit of style and character (and a third category: “okay” food) I decided I wanted to release this app to the world.” - Michael Forrest / Good To Hear
So, with an introductory price of $0.99 (from $2.99) my new app “Just Calories” is now available in the App Store!

Good To Hear needs your help. Do you know a great iOS Developer who would be willing to put some work into Good Habits and Happiness? There is an offer of equity and the prospect of working on apps used every day by thousands of people.
Apologies to some of the long term Habits users who are experiencing a startup crash with the latest release. We have fixed the bug and are currently waiting for an expedited review from Apple. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.
Good Habits users: do you use iCloud? Have strange things been happening with your data recently? Do you want to help me fix this? Email info@goodtohear.co.uk
Huge, HUGE apologies to users whose data disappeared with the last update. BUT DO NOT FRET, your data has not been deleted, it's just in a different 'iCloud container' - the next update will bring your data back.
Just pushed a couple of minor updates to Good Habits. I didn't like the 'rosette' appearing straight away; it's supposed to designate that you're on a record streak but kinda ruins the aesthetic when it appears straight away. Now you get a rosette if you're on a record streak longer than 28 days.
The other, really niche, change is that you can now copy JSON data to the clipboard if you don't use the default email client to email it to yourself.

What's the best new habit you've formed with Good Habits? How long is your chain?
Perfect for those of us with perpetual child-induced brain fade! Simple interface- love it.
Beautiful way to track New Years resolutions, new habits, projects, even spiritual disciplines! Great user interface!
So far so good in planning
Nice app very useful. Thanks.
Good to create task / habits
Perfect, until I bought the pro version. After that, it wouldn’t open at all. I spent ages getting my list right and now I can ever see it!
