Goosewood Holiday Park

A clean safe park. We love it here.

We had a fab holiday here. The hot tub was brilliant news. Our lodge was fantastic. The kids loved it.

Lovely quiet and relaxing site surrounded by open fields. Tesco Express and The Ship Inn for drinks/food in Strensall - about 5 minutes drive away. Also 10 minutes drive from Monk's Cross Shopping Area and about 20 minutes drive into York itself.

Lovely site ..we have visited 3 times now. This time we stayed in a 2 bedroomed lodge. It was clean tidy and well equipped. The only problem were the showers in both bathrooms were very poor..no pressure at all..I certainly could not wash my hair in them. One other point I'd like to make is regarding check in and out times..they seem a little unfair..not being able to get into lodge until 4 and check out by 9.30??? Would it not be better to check in after 2 and check out no later than 11?? That way we would of felt like we had got our money's worth by having a few more hours either side..I'm sure it would still be possible to get lodges cleaned and up to standard within this time slot with a little more organisation .

Had great break there staff very helpful and friendly had a problem with the TV but they replaced it next day with a new one so overall very happy

You will love this place good accommodation and don't miss the hot tub

Can't believe they have the bottle tqo put up the site fees to its caravan owners by half without any warning! Very windy and boggy in places.

We stayed in a lodge with hot-tub. Great place and only 7 miles from York center.

Peaceful clean and well maintained. Suitable for all ages and a good base for exploring yorkshire .

Nice site not too far a drive from York. Pretty site with a lake int he middle to walk around. We have only ever been in our own touring caravan but has always been nice for a chilled little weekend. The bar is quite nice, and does some reasonable bar food. Lovely pool, although the last time we used it it was a bit too cold and we had to get the kids out after 15 minutes as they were freezing. Possibly caught it at the start of the year, i'm not sure. Will definitely return.
