End of an era :-(

Rosie and I met some time ago now and I've seen her fabulous hair and make-up 'in action' on numerous occasions. She also did the hair and make-up for Soprano Elin Manahan Thomas when she sang at Prince Harry & Meghan's wedding. So, what's not to like about the opportunity for a make-up lesson with Rosie ?!

This must take a while !

Wishing you all a hat filled 2019 ! Christmas and New Year proposals bring wedding planning and new Mothers of the Bride & Groom, the New Year Honours list brings investitures (the picture is from 1969, Prince of Wales investiture - what colour !) and of course we have Royal Ascot to prepare for too. New creations for Spring/Summer 2019 are on their way 🙂🍾❤️

A Christmas wedding for this Mother of the Bride. A fabulous bespoke magenta dress and coat from Hardy & Hooper (www.hardyandhooper.co.uk) with a detachable chocolate fur (faux) collar steered me towards blending two colours of sinamay together and adding chocolate accents. Lots of feathers !

An 'Aunt of the Groom' required a small headpiece for her nephews winter wedding. This bespoke piece in navy with accents of gold was perfect with her navy silk velvet coat.

Wishing hat lovers and followers a very Happy Christmas from "Gorgeous & Glorious Millinery'. We are open between Xmas and New Year - so no need to panic if you have a requirement for a winter wedding !

We were coming from the US so Alison was only able to create our hats from pictures we sent. What she did was beyond fabulous! I'm amazed at her imagination which is only outdone by her talent. Thank you Alison, for adding to the memories of my first Royal Ascot.
