DOGS TRUST DOG OF THE MONTH IS ALFIE!!! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾< br> Alfie is a fun-loving young lad who loves to play with his toys and bury them. He doesn’t really enjoy kennel life but because he builds such strong bonds with people, staff are able to help him to deal with his current environment. He loves to go for long walks with them, making lots of friends along the way, and, joining them for a sniff. He’s very affectionate and soppy and would love to find his special someone soon.

Paul Manchester is an excellent vet, we would not trust anyone else with the care of our dogs. Everything from his diagnosis of illnesses through to the treatment he prescribes and the surgery he has performed (from routine spays through to orthopaedic surgery) has been outstanding.

Never had a problem with this place let us pay in installments for a out of the blue treatment. Brill staff

I just wanted to say a very big thank you to all the Staff at Gourleys Vets in Ashton who helped me with my little kitty Jinx over the past few days. She was hit by a car a few days ago, and the level of care received by all the staff was amazing. Unfortunately this morning, her little body couldn't fight anymore and she had to be put to sleep. Her vet Chris who had been taking care of her the past few days made the situation so personal and so peaceful. I could not have asked for more help and support than what I was receiving. Afterwards, the receptionists were kind and attentive as I was obviously upset. They handled the situation delicately and helped me feel at ease. A huge thank you to you all. You did Jinx proud <3 xxxxx

I have five felines who have been under the care of Gourleys for several years. I cannot praise this practice more highly. I have to commend especially Cassie the receptionist at Stalybridge who is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and flexible and Luisa the vet I've seen the most and who is extremely thorough and has a fantastic rapport with all of my pets. WE THANK YOU SO MUCH :-)

Diego is an amazing vet and a true asset to Gourleys vets owning 3 pugs there a none stop worry he has helped me so much he’s got all 3 through surgery’s including my rescue pug Winnie he’s saved her sight I run a local pug group and I’m always sending pugs Diego’s way he’s a vet you can tell dos it for the love of the animal and there not many of them about today I would highly recommend Diego to anyone especially pug owners finding a vet who understands the breed is hard

Again, Gourleys went the extra mile to help Cassie, a severely abused and starved Rottie girl, giving life to 2 of her pups out of 9. the practice and customer service was poor. see a different vet everytime. when my dog had a procedure there nothing was explained at all and was made to feel very uncomfortable. i would rather pay more to see a vet that actually tells me what and how to make my dog better. no advice given either. very poor and disappointing

Wouldn't help someone's poor badly injured dog after it had been run over because they didn't know who it belonged to and who was going to pay. That could have been your dog lying with it's legs broken. Don't use them.

My dog had a kidney infection and £180 later and 2 weeks on last night she collapsed and died she was only 5 WOULDN'T recommend these to anyone money grabbing place and no consideration for the animals!!!!!!!!!

Mr Manchester. On Tuesday night why did you say you would attend a dog that had been run over only to decide an hour later that u wouldnt be attending? Fine if u were busy but let people know. Dont have me lying on the floor cuddling a dog waiting for a vet that has no intention of turning up. You are A DISGRACE to yr profession

Just realised I've been robbed by this place twice recently

Two lots of eye drops for my dog at £34.25 a go... my little boy has just got conjunctivitis and after going to the local chemists, they give me the EXACT same drops at £3.99! DISGUSTING, UNETHICAL PRACTICE. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!
