I am looking after my grandson and everywhere has ground to a hault with heavy snow the schools have all just been closed in Bury. Its safer staying overnight than trying to travel home today. So im making tbe decision to close tonight so no knitting or crochet. Stay safe in this weather.

The kids had a fab time at the junior workshop for beginners. Even my 9yr old boy enjoyed himself.



Learning about the sewing machine, how to use it and actually making a final product to come home with... a brilliant activity to keep the not so little ones busy during the holidays ! Would definitely recommend.



We're also looking at some of the other workshops on offer; yes they really did enjoy it that much. Very impressed with my juniors. Thank you.

The junior and adult classes are fabulous. If you want to sew this is the place to go.

Lovely to finally come and visit your shop. Gorgeous fabrics and so friendly. Will definitely be back ready:-)

Just spent the morning in the sewing sanctury with tutor Liz making a pin cushion turtle......what a great way to use up your stash of....... ' I may need this tiny scrap' ........brilliant morning ....loved every minute....... It also included home made cake yeah.....

It is one of the friendliest and happiest places I know. Every time I go into the Grave and Favour shop or the Sewing Sanctuary I come away with that feel good feeling. All the ladies and occasional gentlemen who either go there or work there are amazing and inspirational people.

I loved the curtains and blinds day at Grace and Favour with Liz. It was really clearly laid out and everyone I met was so friendly and helpful. I've actually had the confidence to make my own curtains since! The take away instructions were so useful. I'd really recommend doing a course there.

I love this place and the people who work and visit here. I cannot recommend them highly enough. .Xxx

I had private sewing lessons with Stacey, taking me from absolute beginner to making costumes for my son and trousers for myself. Stacey is really patient and an excellent teacher. I would 100% recommend her and am looking forward to attending some advanced classes with her. Thanks a million X

I contacted Grace and Favour as I needed help taking up some curtains. Tracy arranged for me to go to her workshop where she taught me how to do it. I absolutely loved the one to one session and my curtains are fantastic, the best bit being that I did it myself! Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks again x

I attended the beginners crochet on Saturday 6th June and it was fab. Brilliant tutor, lovely participants and great to be able to learn at my pace. I'll be coming back for more! Thanks

Great staff who really know what they're talking about. Unbelievable amount of craft supplies, some you can't get anywhere else in the area. Worth popping in just to have a look.

Fantastic place, friendly people, delightful surroundings, lots of great classes and a totally inspirational shop to visit frequently.

Fabulous shop , wonderful staff ... makes an excellent cuppa and distracted the hubby from seeing what I was purchasing heheheh... will be back soon for another visit ... thanks for everything :)

Biased of course but what a wonderful idea - fabric, sewing and craft workshops and lots of charity work and support all in one place! Long may it continue. The back drop of the Marsh Mill Shopping Village is wonderful too - so many lovely new shops.
