We came to Grade for breakfast on Boxing Day! Following a busy Christmas Day at home I have to say it was just perfect! The atmosphere was lovely, staff were warm, welcoming and friendly but not too in your face! Having young children with us adapting the breakfast menu for them was no trouble at all which was lovely! My husband (a chef and previous restaurant manager for years) said his English breakfast was "perfect" and it was "the best black pudding he had ever had, cooked to perfection". I can honestly say we will definately be returning to Grade in future and hopefully for a nice evening meal with no children to enjoy the Tapas xx thank you Grade x

Visited recently and really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning. The food was lovely, the service polite and prices fine. If I want to pay Maccies prices then I'll go to Maccies. Fine establishment, can highly recommend x

Superb best cooked steak I have had for a long time,lovely staff,

Pretty regular visitor; normally for coffee and lunch. Always enjoyed visiting , staff were really friendly and helpful and food always to a high standard. I can recommend most of the breakfast menu, the sharing platters and the burgers. Yesterday had chicken gujons and Parmesan potatoes and both were really tasty and a good sized portion. As always coffee sets the standard others should aim for. Overall excellent as always.

Lovely little gem of a place. Me and my partner paid it a visit last Sunday with our 7-month-old baby and the staff were very accommodating and the food was of exceptional quality, especially for a cafe bar (I had the fish gratin and my partner had the steak and red onion sandwich). Will definitely be coming again and will be sampling the coffee next time because the aroma coming from the coffee machine was � xx

Literally eat here 5 times a week for breakfast in between sessions. Never had one ounce of a complaint, the food is outstanding and service is first class. Always a great and very friendly atmosphere and Sarah and the rest of the staff make you feel very welcome. If you haven't visited Grade yet I couldn't recommend it enough, definitely the place to eat in Poynton.

I took my daughter for lunch yesterday on her 19th birthday. We both had the Grade Club alongside skinny fries and a glass of Pinot Grigio and I have to say it was all delicious 😋 We will most certainly be visiting this place again and I’m just sad it’s taken us this long to discover it!!

Held a private function for my daughter's graduation. Sarah & her team were absolutely exemplary in helping to plan the event, menus, drinks and ensuring a good time was had by all. All guests went out of their way to comment on the fabulous food and lovely venue. The waiting on/bar staff worked like trojans to ensure all of my guests were well looked after and enjoyed a wonderful evening. I cannot recommend this lovely venue enough. Well done :)

Had breakfast here with my wife Claire and son William yesterday. And the food was absolutely delicious. Top quality produce. Can't recommend it enough

Had a fabulous meal in Grade tonight thanks to the new chef Tim. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and very attentive. A big shout out to Jess, Katie and Rico. Will definitely be visiting again x

Fantastic evening with wonderful food and exceptional service. The new menu is brilliant and we all ordered the kebabs which were fabulous. Had a bad experience with service in a Bramhall restaurant last week. I won't be making that mistake again. Grade is top quality food, service and atmosphere.

After Sarah came to my restaurant on Xmas eve with kids in tow, I thought it only right to spend part at my day of doing the same at Grade. This was my first Day off since time began and wanted a nice, relaxed, late morning breakie and that is exactly what we got. My boy loves his breakfast as much as his dinosaurs so all boxes ticked there. I wish Grade all success for the future as they are a great asset to Poynton with Lee wearing the strings. All the best for the new year.

Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, the service and the drinks options. All the staff were chatty and very friendly and extremely accommodating, I ordered the wrong drink and they replaced it no problem. We had the sea bass and the carbonara and both were absolutely excellent. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Visited last Saturday, Great Cafe, Halloumi Sandwich was excellent. However looking at the sides on the menu I was intrigued to see (amongst ,the Fries and paprika fries etc) the inclusion of 'Thallium Fries'. I pointed out to the waitress that Thallium was a main ingredient in rat poison and probably not good to have it sprinkled on your chips.

Of course she came back and said it was a typo on the new menu and should have been Halloumi Fries. We had the Paprika fries just in case. Quite amusing really.

As a side note whilst writing this Halloumi was flagged as a spelling error and the only choice to correct it was Thallium, weird!

It was quite busy, but still a long wait for food. It was yummy though, and they gave us a free round of drinks to apologise. Nice staff too! Customers just need to remember to close the back gate! My toddler tried to make a run for it a couple of times! We'll be back. Would recommend. ☺️

I’m absolutely gutted that you’ve changed your menu. I came in on Saturday night hoping to enjoy your amazing Tapas. Only to find you’ve eliminated it from your menu (apart from a few tapas now classed as starters). Your food was “nice”, but I now feel your menu is mainstream & looks more like a lunchtime selection. Great service & great staff - but unfortunately I won’t be booking for the evening again.

I visited for lunch yesterday and unfortunately was rather disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Kebab which arrived with 4 very small pieces of chicken and bulked up by salad. I asked if this was standard and expressed my disappointment at the cost of £12 for such a small amount of chicken. I was advised by the waitress that it was correct and that the chef had also confirmed this. Such a shame as this was my first lunch visit and the food, albeit delicious was really not good value at all. I was hoping that the waitress was going to advise that it was an error, maybe due to being very busy but no, nothing. Almost a like it or lump it attitude. Not the best customer service experience.

Food was very good. Unfortunately the service was very poor and let the experience down.

As a local I really want local to succeed however...I had pancakes for breakfast recently and they were terrible and overpriced. We ate lunch today and with the new chef there’s no sharing board! Had olives and they arrived... about 10 of them with a load of bulk salad. I asked for olives, not salad! Tbh your prices are also getting out of control! I could go on. Currently we won’t be back which is a real shame.
