Hi my name is Graham and I was born in Nottingham and now live in Mansfield but I still support Forest!

Well, how did I get started in the photography business? I'd love to say that I have been to university and got a degree in photography, and I belong to different photo societies, but I haven't and I don't.

I have always been a very keen amateur photographer, but never considered that I could make a living from doing what I enjoy, it never crossed my mind. I would photo the occasional wedding for friends as a favour and that was that.

It wasn't until my wife Toni Atkinson began her wedding cake business a few years ago and we began to have wedding couples coming through our door to have their wedding cakes made that we both had the idea to combine the two businesses and so began my wedding photography. It just made sense!

This is where I'm supposed to say something meaningful and profound about myself and all the amazing things I do at Graham Atkinson Photography. The truth is, though, it's all very simple. I catch images in a box and use it to tell a story. My story. Your story to put in a story book. Simple realy.
