Still working on making my own backdrops, what do you thinking?
What colour backdrops would you like to see?
Hoping that making my own will make your photos more personal and unique! If you know me, I have a vendetta against studio white backdrop photos.

So who's going to take your wedding photos?
How do you pick a wedding photographer?
This is a question I have recently got asked a lot. For those that don't know, in less than 3 weeks I will be getting married and so excited!
... But thought I would give you 5 things to think about when looking at booking /meeting a wedding photographer..
1. Make sure you feel comfortable with them and confident they know what they are doing. Are they showing a level of professionalism, because if they are being professional now it will follow though the whole process, you hope.
2. Do you like the style of their work and have you seen a nearly full wedding day. Photographers aren't going to change their whole style and way they take photos for you, Photography is an art form, if your not sure on their style keep looking around. Also worth asking to see a full wedding so you know what you are going to get at the end of the day
3. Check for insurance policy, if they happen to damage anything or something goes wrong you want to know they are covered. Some venues might also want to see an insurance policy from the photographer before letting them work at their venue.
4. Have a look at their contract, if they have one. All professional wedding photographers should have one outlining hours, end amount, time frame, what happens if their ill, cancellation policy etc. If they don't have a contract which you both sign, be careful.
5. Make sure you see them a couple of time before the wedding, don't do it all over the phone and only see them on the day. You need to be comfortable with your photographer. One of the best ways is doing an Engagement/ Pre-wedding shoot, so you get used to the way they work.

Got a Bump? and I mean not one from walking in to something.
Make sure you take updates on your phone of your growth. Trust me you will regret it if you don't. There are so many handy apps now that you can use to help.
For our second we didn't really and only at the last minute did we decide to do some maternity photos. 2 days later he came and we were so glad we had got those photos, especially with his brother.

Sometimes the simplest of photos can be so powerful.
If your taking photos of your kids, don't over think it. Just keep a nice clear background, Woodlands, Garden, Bright window, etc
