Welcome to Grains Bar Hotel we have 21 bedrooms, 2 large function rooms, a cafe and restaurant which is also open to the public. We host a range of weddings and events. We are set in the 10 acres of farm with panoramic views of the countryside.

Grains Bar Hotel is set in 9 acres of picturesque farm land. We have 23 bedrooms, all with free parking and Wi-Fi. We are 15 minutes off the M62 and on the boarder of Lancashire and Yorkshire. We are 2 miles from the local tram station which has a direct route to Manchester with many links to the surrounding areas
The Pennine Way runs along our boarders and is the perfect setting for Events and Weddings or an outdoor holiday. We have a great wedding and event planner who can help you plan the perfect day or trip.
We have guided and also route maps for people who prefer to make their own way. We can organise walking, Nordic walking, cycling, and climbing. We also offer certified navigational course through the hotel, for more information please contact Louise at the hotel. 01616240303. The hotel has great gardens for relaxing, with picturesque scenery for you to reflect and unwind.
Our neighbours are a 9-hole golf course, with a driving range and a petting farm perfect for families.
There is a local CO-OP 1 mile away just in case you need extra supplies.
All of our rooms have a TV and tea /coffee making facilities. We have standard, en suite and family rooms available. Excellent views of the countryside can be seen from most rooms.
There are 2 relaxing lounges and a bar with hot drinks available. Breakfast is served daily with evening meals provided on request (Monday to Thursday) .

What an amazing venue �
Attending the wine tasting event last night.
It was really well organised, a little snack provided afterwards (yes we should have eaten first) as the wine was very strong!! But honestly it was perfect. Really nice atmosphere in the bar afterwards and we just can’t wait to get married there in 6 months time �
Stayed in the hotel with my wife and 8 month old son. We were attending a party nearby. From the moment we arrived, until we left we were looked after very well. Room was comfy and spotless. Breakfast was great, and very reasonable.
Stayed here while attending a wedding near by, such a lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely rooms; would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect place for a relaxing drink in the sunshine. Gorgeous surroundings and a choice of outdoor seating and the staff couldn’t do enough for us!
My husband took me out for a Valentine’s meal with the kids. It was brilliant how they plannned it from a meal for 2 downstairs to the kids being entertained upstairs. Staff was brilliant and very friendly and the food was amazing. Thank you for a brilliant night. You will be seeing us all agin in the Easter 🐣

Held my daughters 21st party on 24th March 2018.
This included all the rooms to accommodate all the students travelling to the venue.
The only word to say about the hotel is fabulous!!
From initially booking they have been more than helpful, and kept in touch regularly. Louise and the staff were beyond professional and ensured that a brilliant night was had by all.
Great prices, beautiful rooms and an atmosphere that kept the party going.
If you are after a venue for a special occasion be it small or large look no further than this hotel.
My undying thanks to all that made this a night to remember.
