Granby Toxteth Development Trust is an independent, local charitable organisation which is based in the Toxteth area of Liverpool.
We have been in existence since 1994 and our main aim is to help improve the social and economic well-being of residents and businesses within the area and its surroundings.
We provide various services and manage a range of projects - visit our website www. gtdt. co. uk to find out more about our current projects and activities.
We are independent, non-political and non-religious. We are not part of the Council or the Government and we receive no funding for our core costs (staff, rent, utilities etc). All of our services need money to operate and we raise this by submitting bids to funders. This is a lengthy process and we are always in competition with other organisations. If we cannot raise the money we need, we cannot deliver services.

Recycle Week 2018! Did you know that the waste collected in our streets and parks litter bins are separated and recycled.
This week is Recycling week. Did you know that 66% of U.K. households express uncertainty about how to correctly dispose of one or more items when recycling.
On Monday we received a letter from the lovely Helen on behalf of "that Bloomin' Green Triangle" thanking GTDT for the support in helping their project beautify the area.
It has been so nice to work in partnership with this fabulous project and we hope to continue our work together.
Our partners at Riverview Development Trust are holding Stay and Play sessions each Thursday 1:30pm - 3pm for children aged 0-5 years.
We are taking part in Macmillan Coffee Morning, Friday 28 September 2018. Come along to our centre 129d Lodge Lane 11am-1pm and help us raise some dough for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We had a great turn out of people coming to get their blood pressure taken yesterday as part of Know Your Numbers week. If you're wanting to get your blood pressure taken then the next event is at our centre 129d Lodge Lane, L8 0QF on Thursday 13 September from 10am - 1pm.
This week is Know Your Numbers week in relation to blood pressure.
