Hello and welcome to our final update of the year. I hope you are all well and aren't too frantic preparing for this holiday season. Here at GW we're busy making plates and cups in preparation for the end of the year.
Oh 2017, what a year you have been. We started off with an exhibition at the Whitechapel all about bricks (I’m not lying literal bricks in there many forms) before jetting off to ADO in Brooklyn to make over 700 extruded tiles. As Spring arrived we moved back i...nto our original home, Karen & Sam’s old newsagents after it was renovated and took a brief trip down to London to take part in Ecobuild. We met our ram press, Rambo for the first time and shipped him out to work in Milan again with A/D/O. There were also exhibitions with a selection of Granby Workshop products at the Bauhaus in Dessau and Architekturzentrum in Vienna.
