Had 2 tables booked, one for 7 for my daughter's 15th birthday with her friends who were seated in the back area and one for 5..myself and parents..the staff were wonderful..checked with me prior to the birthday girl's table order being served.e.g. how many drinks/mocktails.All went smoothly..a very happy daughter and her friends. Came in this morning for breakfast with my two teenage sons ...best breakfast ever !! In fact my most favourite meal I've had at this restaurant and I've been in a few times ...the steak was amazing ...thanks chef οΏ½
Being IV fed can make going to restaurants really difficult. Not at Grand Central though!! Despite not having anything on your menu that I could have, our waitress went across to The Cutter and got me some soup so that I wouldn't feel left out. Thank you so much! You went above and beyond! The rest of our table had an amazing meal too. Again, thank you so much.
6 of us went for dinner, food was lovely and very filling. Only downside was the paper they insist on putting on the tray plates, you end up eating most of it.
The service was excellent, the people friendly and polite and I love to eat what is known as a proper burger. 8oz of real meat with bacon and cheese. My wife loved her food as well.
In general great location and food, few details to look at, water marks on knife, chiped milk jug & cigarette ends on ground under table outside...
Lovely location and plenty of seating. Only had couple of coffees but sat outside for ages before going in to order. Then took ages to bring out coffee. Need to be more on the ball in that respect.
Itβs really nice place to sit next to the river the only thing missing was the shade. They had only one sunshade umbrella on the big table. The others are without any...
Been a few times now,it's ok but nothing special.Arbuckles is better value and much better food.I find some of the food quite expensive.
