We are the UK’s leading motor sports tour operator specialising in tailor made motor racing holidays worldwide.

Grandstand Motor Sports has been successfully sending people to motor sports events since its formation in 2005. Our experienced team have many years experience organising motor racing holidays for fellow race enthusiasts and know what it’s like to feel the adrenaline and excitement of being at a race track.

Our knowledge and expertise is unrivaled and there are few circuits and venues we haven’t been to. We know how to get you there, the best places to stay and what to do at the track. ** World SBK 2020 - further updates **
An announcement has been made by the FIM and Dorna WSBK Organization of further updates to the 2020 World SBK calendar.
The Aragon round (due to take place 24 May) has been rescheduled to 30 August.... The Misano round (due to take place 14 June) has been rescheduled to 8 November.
Sadly, the Imola round, due to take place on 10 May, has been cancelled.
The FIM and Dorna WSBK Organization announced that "it is with regret that after a range of scenarios being discussed and reviewed and in agreement with Circuit Officials, that the Acerbis Italian Round at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari has been cancelled."

** Spa Classic & Dijon Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or - update ** It was announced yesterday by event organisers Peter Auto that both the Spa Classic and the Dijon Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or will be cancelled for 2020. The Spa Classic was due to take place 22 - 24 May and the Dijon Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or was due to take place 5 - 7 June. Peter Auto advised that the events have been cancelled rather than rescheduled for later in the year because there were no realistic options for new dates in the Autumn. This due to an already over-busy end of season as a result of many other events already being rescheduled. We are contacting all clients affected by these event cancellations. ** Le Mans Classic 2020 - update ** We're disappointed to have to advise that it was announced today that the Le Mans Classic 2020 has been postponed until 2021. The decision to postpone the event is as a result of the ongoing outbreak of the coronavirus. The event is now scheduled to take place between 1 - 4 July 2021. We will be contacting all customers who have bookings for this event. Thank you once again for bearing with us at this very busy time.

** Canadian Grand Prix Update ** It was announced this evening that the 2020 Canadian Grand Prix, due to take place on 14 June, has been postponed amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
No new date has yet been confirmed. We will ensure up to date information on re-scheduled races and race dates is posted via our social media channels.

** Mugello MotoGP - Update ** We are so disappointed to advise that it has been announced today by the FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports that the Gran Premio d’Italia Oakley has been postponed. The event was set to be held at the Autodromo del Mugello from the 29th to the 31st of May. The ongoing coronavirus outbreak has obliged the event to be rescheduled.
As the situation remains in a state of constant evolution, it cannot yet be confirmed when exactly it will be possible to hold ...the future MotoGP events in 2020.

** Catalunya MotoGP - Update ** We are sad to advise that the FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports have confirmed today the postponement of the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP™, scheduled for June 5 to 7 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as a result of the pandemic caused by COVID-19.
"As the current state of the situation is constantly evolving, the new date for the Grand Premi de Catalunya cannot be confirmed until it is clear when it will be possible to hold sp...orts events."

** Le Mans MotoGP 2020 update ** We regret to advise that it was announced today that the French MotoGP, which was due to run on 17 May 2020, will be postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. A new date has not yet been agreed.
The statement given by the FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports stated "as the situation remains in a state of constant evolution, new dates for the French GP and the recently-postponed Gran Premio Red Bull de España cannot be confirmed until it become...s clearer when exactly it will be possible to hold the events. A revised calendar will be published as soon as available."

** Indy 500 update ** It was announced yesterday that the Indy 500 has been rescheduled from its original date of 24 May to the new date of 23 August 2020. This is as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are in the process of contacting all customers who are booked to travel to this event in May. ** Goodwood Festival of Speed 2020 - update ** Goodwood has announced today (26 March 2020) that this event, scheduled to take place in July, has been postponed. "Following all that’s happened in the last few weeks and the advice we have received from the UK Government, we have decided to postpone the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, to later in the year.... We obviously want to be sure of choosing the best possible date; this will require some careful consideration and as soon as we have that we will let you know." ** Jerez MotoGP 2020 update ** Today it has been announced that this event will be postponed. "The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports regret to announce the postponement of the Red Bull Gran Premio de España, which was set to be held at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto from the 1st to the 3rd of May. The ongoing coronavirus outbreak has obliged the event to be rescheduled." As yet, no new date has been announced. We are in the process of contacting customers who have bookings for this event and would like to thank you for your patience.

** Monaco Historic Grand Prix - update ** The Monaco Historic Grand Prix, due to take place between 8 -10 May 2020, has been cancelled. The Automobile Club de Monaco announced the cancellation of the event due to the current situation concerning the worldwide pandemic (COVID-19) and its unknown path of evolution. It was announced that 'this event cannot be postponed and under no circumstances, will it be possible to organise this event later this year' We are now contacting all customers who had bookings with us to travel to this event in May. We would like to thank our customers for their patience during this time.

** Assen World SBK update ** It has been announced today (24/03/20) by the FIM and the Dorna WSBK organization that the Assen World SBK round will be rescheduled from 19 April 2020 to 23 August 2020. This is as a result of the ongoing international impact from the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We are in the process of contacting those people who have bookings for this event. ** Formula One update ** It was announced this morning that the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, scheduled for 7 June 2020, has been postponed. This is as a result of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic and has been based entirely on the expert guidance provided by the relevant authorities. Officials from the Baku City Circuit said: "The postponement was agreed upon after extensive discussions with Formula 1 as well as the FIA and the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic. We are in the process of contacting all customers who were due to be travelling with us to this event. We'd like to continue our thanks to all of our valued customers for their patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.

** Formula One update ** This afternoon we received the news that the Dutch Grand Prix (3 May), Spanish Grand Prix (10 May) and Monaco Grand Prix (24 May) will no longer take place you on their scheduled May dates.
The Dutch and Spanish races have been postponed and the Monaco Grand Prix has been cancelled.
... The official statement included - “Due to the ongoing and fluid nature of the COVID-19 situation globally, Formula 1, the FIA and the three promoters have taken these decisions in order to ensure the health and safety of the travelling staff, championship participants and fans, which remains our primary concern.”
We know that this will be of huge disappointment to fans all around the world. We are in the process of contacting all customers who had bookings for these three events.

** Update on the Pau Historic Grand Prix 2020 We regret to inform you of the postponement of the Pau Historic Grand Prix, which was due to take place 30 May - 1 June 2020. A new date has not yet been announced. The decision to postpone this race was as a result of the ongoing outbreak of the coronavirus.
