'With Granger & Co Clerkenwell I wanted to create, not just an inviting spot where you can relax, dine and indulge, but also something a bit different. The area is a creative hub so I wanted to inject some glamour into the restaurant, while at the same time keeping things classic. Climbing the stairs into the bright, airy restaurant, an array of freshly baked tarts, cakes and slices are laid out on a terrazzo slab. Tall windows look out over treetops and 1960s Italian lamps create a soft glow in the evening. This is a place for sharing small dishes and pizzettas over a cocktail, or two. '

We've previously only tried the Kings Cross restaurant so this was a bit of a risk to celebrate our son's birthday. It was reasonably busy which ensured that the atmosphere was great but the staff were attentive, friendly and professional and the food was wonderful!

Simple, sophisticated decor, attentive, plesant staff and a fab menu. Really enjoyed the shrimp burger and the miso mushroom pizzetta was divine! A really great evening out, thanks to all who made it such s lovely experience; we'll be back!
Service was fantastic. Made to feel like a valued customer. Menu choices were amazing and the dishes chosen where so very flavoursome. Finished with a cocktail 🍹! Would highly recommend, especially for lunch. Very reasonably priced.

My favourite restaurant in Clerkenwell, great place to eat for business or pleasure. Food is divine.
Had breakfast here in Summer 2014, scrambled eggs smooth and devine, coconut bread to die for, bacon excellent, can't wait to come back in Summer 2015!
Had a lovely meal here last night, the squid was delicious and the salmon miso also great. My friend had the pork belly which she enjoyed. Service was attentive and the restaurant itself looks lovely. Will def go back �
Great food and good for people with kids
Friendly and welcoming staff await you accompanied by a good knowledge of their menu/s. Great continuity of the brand and feels like a nice extension to the N'Hill location. Will be back for sure. Ps. Try the jalapeño tequila cocktail!
Excellent service and excellent food. The staff were very friendly and we went back for Brunch on sunday after eating dinner here on Friday evening. Great cocktails too. One small piece of feedback - the door is difficult to open to get in to the building and we spent 5 minutes outside thinking it was locked before a regular user arrived and punched it open with their shoulder.
Lovely atmosphere and food was delicious,
although was hurried up by the waiter to look at our menus after only just sitting down. Also received a phone call around 10 mins after being seated at my table to see if I still needed my reservation!?
Excellent service! Came 20 min before opening and were asked to wait inside as it was raining. Food very good and fresh. Best scrambled egg ever, super coffea and wonderful outmeal cookie.
A great combination of small and larger plates to the Granger formula - all delivered with style and warmth by staff working on a busy mid-week evening (it was Valentine's after all). And all absolutely in line with other meals I've eaten at Kings' Cross. The Australian Gewurtztsraminer/Semillon/Pinot Grigio was a complete bonus. A great venue - which I'm hopeful of visiting again in the spring/summer when there is more light. And the bonus of being able to book a table is definitely welcome. Jeremy Fennell
It was cute it wa sa great day it felt like it was summer. We had fun we had food we had drinks in this wonderful setting.
We almost waited an hour for our breakfast which was served without an apology or explanation. Service was unfriendly and slow. The only good thing was the food. Such a pity, as we came here for my friends birthday and it was really a bad experience!
The wait was waaaay too long... they forgot 2 of our main courses and when they brought it they were unfinished and had some ingredients missing... they guys are nice and apologetic but the service and kitchen need to communicate because it is a real mess... shame cause the food is amazing!
Crowded and too loud to enjoy a Sunday brunch. The manager asked us to leave the table free while second round of orders still pending (no apologies). Kind service otherwise. Tooo Expensive versus quality overall.
09/07/2017 - Great ambience, the most horrifying breakfast I've had! At first I was very very pleasantly surprised with the interior design, looked so stylish. Second by the staff who were so attentive. The menu sounded so delicious, I always make a habit to try for breakfast or brunch poached eggs, toast and salmon in every restaurant I go as a first visit. The plate came with some boiled greens which had no taste, poor looking poached eggs, over cooked salmon and cherry tomatoes. I was shocked to hear that I need to order toast and ask 3rd time for butter as the toast - which you pay extra does not come with butter. The toast was so hard even super buttered that damaged my gums. I wish I had the ricotta pancakes as they looked amazing and not this poor breakfast.. I don't mind paying extra but what exactly was worth paying for? The coffee at least was strong enough for an americano... Would I go there again??? If I don't find another brunch place for ricotta pancakes perhaps....
