the best ribeye steak it was cooked to perfection, the staff where really friendly and the service was excellent.. all credit to the chef who looked after my dietary requirements top marks from me.. love this place I can highly recommend it

Well been for the first time today and really did love it great people and great food will defo be going back

Well I’m gonna tell yours now, I’ve just been to wheat used to be Amaretto’s and then La Vita next to the castle , it’s now called Granny Briggs and it’s the best meal I’ve had around here for a long long time, different owner different menu different kind of food ( more British ) please give this place a go and don’t let it fritter away ( no pun intended ). I got the cock and bull ( chicken and steak strips ) and it was amazing !!! You heard it here first it’s a must try even just once to see for yourself , I guarantee you’ll love it.

We had a lovely meal last night. Good staff and good value for money. We will definitely be going back.

We decided for a change to visit Granny Briggs for our Sunday lunch there were 6 of us, we went in and were shown to our table and we ordered our drinks straight away we then ordered our lunch 5 Sunday lunches with various meats and my son had Gammon when the meals arrived the size of the portions were fantastic my sons meal was enormous we then ordered 3 desserts (cheese cake, chocolate fudge cake and syrup sponge and custard) and the portions again were huge, everything was so tasty I would very highly recommend everybody to visit Granny Briggs as you will not be disappointed!!

Visited tonight for the first time although dad & brother have been before. Delicious food, more than ample portions, very friendly staff & reasonable prices....what more can you ask for! Definitely worth a visit to this hidden gem. Considering going back for Sunday Lunch.

Visited Granny Briggs tonight for the first time.Lovely food.Large portions and great value for money.Neil the owner is a nice guy.His daughter is lovely very polite and helpful.would highly recommend to family and friends.Will be visiting again.

They catered for 24 people of us for Sunday lunch and it's was lovely! Got a massive portion especially half a chicken which was massive and the beef was so tender and nice was so tasty! Plenty of veg between us too! And thought if everything such as mint sauce ECT. Very lovely and even nice dessert too!

My family and myself go to Granny Briggs every sunday for our lunch. We are never disappointed with the food its always hot,fresh and tasty. The staff could not be more helpful always friendly and willing to help. Its such a refreshing change to go for a meal and know you have no complaints whatsoever about the food and service. Compliments to the chef.

Just had lasagna from here absolutely 2 die for will 100% be bk again best place ever 4 it esp as i a very fussy eater well done 2 the chef would defo recommend

Very picky when it comes to stuff like that! And I can honestly say it’s the best steak I’ve ever had! And the fact he went the extra mile says it all, and made this most amazing sauce for me! Which is 2 die for! The staff make you feel so welcome! I can honestly say you pay for what you get! And if you want quality decent food! This is the place to go! ��� thanks for a lovely night

Had lunch here today and it was absolutely beautiful food! Excellent portion size were big ( too big to be fair) everything we had was fresh will be back very soon.

Fab restaraunt, food is excellent, loads of veg, mashed potatoes, roastys, and gravy Separate is always piping hot, Staff all polite and very helpful, this is our regular Sunday Lunch outing and we wouldn't go any where else, we are now booked for Xmas here as last year they had just not long opened, so Defo looking forward to that, well done to Neil the proprietor and chef, he goes out his way to please everyone xx

Been told good things about this place so tried it for myself today and wow what a fantastic friendly place to eat. The food was to die for. Proper hearty pub food. Will definitely be back, going to try and work my way through the menu as everything sounded nice �.
