Granny Dowbekins Tearooms

Had lovely lunch at Granny Dowbekins. The prices may seem a bit high but the portions are generous. The food taste wonderful and the lemonade was quite refreshing.

Hubby got the club sandwich. Wow it was huge. Came with a side of salad and creamy coleslaw. Had to deconstruct it to eat it. Well worth the money.

Great service and a wonderful selection of food. Loved their ginger bridges. Great idea and a memory of a bridge that was lost to the ravages of storm Desmond. They have a dog friendly area as well as a dog free zone to suit everyone's requirements. Will definitely come again.

Ate in every pub in Pooley Bridge last week then ate here. We should have made this our first point of call as the food was far superior here. We had a late lunch and then breakfast the next day. Food fresh, well cooked and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing value for money, huge portions at a reasonable price. The food is very good quality and sourced locally. The tearooms are spacious and bright. The toilets are outside, which may mean a short dash in the rain. Fully wheelchair accessible

Lovely place! Great seating area outside, brilliant jacket potatoes and very reasonably priced. The doggy bags went down a treat too!

Pooley Bridge is a very popular spot and the Tearoom is in the heart of it, so even though there are lots of tables, it was busy both inside and out.

The atmosphere is lovely, as the interior is bright, very well decorated and clean.

The food was to a high standard and the menu has a broad offering, including all day breakfasts. The service was good, although it was a shame that one lady had forgotten how to smile depsite my best efforts.

This is definitely the place to have lunch if you are in Pooley Bridge.
