Northern Star Mocha Porter takes porters to a new level, as they masterfully blend in fresh coffee beans with hints of bitterness and a strong presence of hazelnut, along with rich dark chocolate and lactose to balance out this full bodied dark ale. An excellent collaboration with Leeds based Northern Star Coffee Roasters 👌🏻

First time in. What a place, great vibe.

Fantastic staff, fantastic selection of gin and beer. They also go way beyond to make sure you enjoy your time here. Highly recommended and the patio/outside area is a hidden gem.



Just visit the place and you'll know why I LOVE it so much!

Excellent selection of beers and wonderful bar staff, but let's face it... the most exciting thing is that the toilets are like being in the Ocean Zone in The Crystal Maze.

Came last night and wasn’t disappointed. Friendly team, great atmosphere and selection of beers, wines, spirits and of course gins!

The outside space is great and the decor has been done brilliantly. The toilets were clean which goes a good length in some places. I love the handrail on the stairs!

Called in with a group of friends 27/4. I’m a gin drinker, so was pleased when Granville’s opened. The guy behind the bar who served me seemed to know his stuff, to point he mentioned to my friend that her choice was a desert gin. So although a brief flying Visit, I’m initially Impressed and will be returning. Ps. One of friends doesn’t like gin, but the bar chose a gin for her to suit her palate and he liked it.

Awesome new bar in Horsforth. About time someone opened a bar with a difference. Never knew I’d like gin til these guys got me into it! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new place to drink!

Absolutely spot on! Ryan, Andy and Callum. What a bar, I love Gin and the wife hates it. BUT the wife now loves it too! Thanks to their expertise they have changed her taste. She absolutely loves the “BOE Violet gin with Lemonade” #notonic perfect. Will be coming again! Me and her are now absolutely ginned. #hicccuppp

A great addition to Horsforth, with a cracking selection and friendly atmosphere.

Please get some soft furnishings! The industrial chic look may be the latest thing but at £8 per gin I'd like somewhere comfy to sit. Table too wobbly to put drinks on, so we were told after it was tweaked not to wobble it! Torn cardigan from the cheap chip board seats at the back. Flimsy outdoor cushions that aren't even an inch thick do not make for a comfy night. Stayed a couple of hours but that was more than enough. Rough around the edges, a little more attention to the detail will make this place a hit.

Love the concept of this place and location, fabulous choice of beers and spirits,



Accoustics are quite bad, can't really chat to well as can't hear what your friends are saying nothing to absorb the clatters due to no soft furnishings other than a few cushions on hard wood chairs/benches,



Inconsistencies in drink presentation ?

Gin was served in lovely stem glasses ,

Vodka served in short straight glass on one round then

Vodka served in long straight glass, ?

Ice ! Mmmm some ice in glass of Gin or Vodka is cooling and sharp with the flavour of your drinks,

Half melting soggy wet ice is just Average bar drinks to me,

Feel that they should be a set quality bench mark on drink presentation, (sorry just a shame spoilt the drink)



Overall a good concept that could be great !
