About Graveney Equine

Graveney Equine is a destination for courses, clinics and workshops specialising in a holistic approach to horse management, training and owner education.

Graveney Equine Description

We look forward to providing a range of courses, clinics and workshops that compliment and promote the ethos of behavioural and physical health, welfare and nutrition in our horses.

We have a background of over 30 years working with and owning horses and have a range of experience over many spheres within that time.

I gained a BSc in Animal Management, Behaviour and Welfare and have worked with animals for twenty years. I have a particular interest in behaviour, training, nutrition and welfare and for the last 6 years have been lecturing in these subjects. I also have a passion for barefoot hoofcare and the nutrition required for this. I write for 'The Barefoot Horse' Magazine and have had articles in a variety of other publications to date.

Over the last five years, we have been developing a livery based around the concept of 'Paddock Paradise' (Track Systems). Our desire to create a livery which provides a lifestyle which is first and foremost to the benefit of the horse has taken us on a long journey of discovery and we still learn and add to this every day.

Thomas has a MSc in Crop Production and we also work an area of arable farm where we specialise in crop, grass and land management which is of huge benefit when it comes to managing grazing and producing a quality hay crop.
