Great Benefit was founded in 2001 and has provided a wide variety of SMEs and large enterprises with strategic and operational technology consultancy and solutions. Between us, we have worked across a wide variety of sectors including distribution, health and social care, media, finance, retail and remote workforce sectors such as security, cleaning and domiciliary care. Since 2006, we have focused our skills on helping privately owned or PE backed organisations design and implement their core technology platforms, subsequently supporting them through both organic and acquisitional growth. Often starting with the initial IT due diligence process, we have successfully helped them integrate more than 50 acquisitions into their core platforms and systems with minimal impact to their daily operations. The acquired organisations are typically within the £ 1m-£20m turnover range but our work has included integration planning of acquired companies up to £120m. This is an integral part of our service as we work with our customers through their full buy and build life cycle to sale completion. Whether helping our customers with discrete projects, interim IT leadership or implementing the full platform solution, we pride ourselves on working closely with our customers to understand both them and their sector demands. Often the final solutions are a combination of robust standard technologies supported by innovations that provide them with true market advantage. During the years, we have identified some great partners that we work with. Not only have they got some the best products, they also have the right approach to help make our projects a success as well as leveraging a good discount for customers. Where we haven't found a product that meets our requirements, we aren't afraid of building our own solution. Over the years we have created unique SMS services, Domino intranets and a bespoke self-service kiosk solution with interactive apps and a bespoke housing. We are also a Microsoft Silver Application Development Partner and have now created a suite of tools for SharePoint to enable rapid building of applications that do not fit into your core systems. Designed primarily to replace the many spreadsheets and pieces of paper an organisation has, IntraQuick® is simple to use and can easily send and receive data from other systems. Keeping Masterdata synchronised across systems is a fundamental element of our approach. So in short, we won't reinvent the wheel unless we have to but we are always up for a challenge!
