Great Houghton School

We extend a warm welcome to our Great Houghton School page. GHS is a school proud to say that children are at the heart of our community.

Our emphasis is on the development of the whole child, through a creative and stimulating curriculum.

The school consists of a nursery department and a two form entry from Reception to Year 11 -
where we maintain an adult /pupil ratio of 1: 8 within the Early Years. Class sizes within the school are small, a maximum of twenty pupils, allowing us to give proper attention to each child and helping them to reach their maximum potential.
