We provide stylish and fully responsive websites for UK businesses with additional services including photography, web hosting and SEO.

Why the name?

I wanted something that would be easy to remember and look good on a business card, so greatwebdesign. uk seemed to fit the bill.

The .com version of the domain was on sale for £17K, so I figured £6. 99 for the . uk version was a steal. Forget trying to grab the . co. uk version because it was a two for one deal 8-)


How big is your team?

There is me and I suppose you can count the dog who sometimes offers feedback, but actually it doesn't matter because I like to provide a personal service and solve problems for customers.


What sort of web sites do you build?

The main point is that all my sites are responsive and tested thoroughly on a white range of mobile, tablet and desktop computers.

I am happy to tackle to tackle pretty anything from a small one page site for a B& B right up to slick e-commerce site.

Unlike most designers, I understand what it means to have invested considerable time and money in an online project because I do it myself, having written a book about colour management for photographers last year that you can see at https://colourmanagementpro.com


What services do you provide?

I can pretty much do as much or as little as you need. Many customers don't understand anything about web design or hosting etc, so they would rather go to one place for everything.

I can handle everything apart from registering your domain, which should always be done in your own name for legal reasons, but I can help guide you through the process.
