Greaves Park

Set in a lovely old building, nice decor and good food.

Food is excellent. Fixed price lunch menu is a real bargain. Always leave satisfied when visiting Greaves.

We visited for a family celebration on Thursday. 8 people all together. Excellent food very swift service at reasonable prices .staff very attentive and helpful. We've visited several times and have always found the meals lovely.would thoroughly recommend Greaves park to anyone .

4/5* as the food is good. Not amazing, just good as it is standard pub fare and its the same as most other places in town, not that that is a particularly bad thing.
Friendly staff, clean establishment and looks really nice inside. A wonderful beer garden as its nested in a small park, also with a children's play area which makes it suitable for a family venue!

Dropped in for lunch today. The decor is lovely and the view over the park great.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
I ordered the burger of the week, which was fantastic. The proper chips finish it off grand! My wife had the lamb Sunday lunch, which was also fantastic and just the right size for lunch.
We will be back to try the steak night!!

Pleasant atmosphere. Food is expensive unless purchasing from the fixed price menu which is more reasonable. Some food is very nice (like the roast pork) but other food (like the carbonara) is disappointing.

The food here used to taste super good. Maybe they have a different chef now and they also have different staff. I was shocked with their so called "Luxury Pie", it doesn't taste of anything and it was very badly presented consider the price they charge. Will not come back here again for sure.
P.s we had to get up to order our food at the bar because no one came to serve us. It wasn't used to be like this. 😭

Pleasant atmosphere to wine and dine. Good choice of food off two seperate menus. Polite and friendly staff.

Used to be sooo good. Nice steak, nice chicken, nice pasta. Not sure whether it's bank holiday or what, or the chef has left, the food is just horrible now and it doesn't taste of anything. Staff service definitely requires some degree of improvement.
