Green Bar At Hotel Cafe Royal Description
Inspired by the Café Royal Cocktail Book compiled in 1937, the Green Bar at Hotel Café Royal is a vibrant cocktail destination for contemporary Londoners and hotel guests. Celebrating the diverse history of the location, the list features Botanicals and Tonics alongside classic cocktail concoctions and a selection of light lunch dishes and small plates.
The Botanicals and Tonics are the signature cocktails of the Green Bar where our expert bartenders can mix up the favoured G& T. Choose from a wide variety of handpicked gins and matching tonics.
Alongside the Botanicals & Tonics the iconic Absinthe experience is also available in the Green Bar. As the spirit of Café Royal is revived, so too is the ritual of drinking Absinthe, the favoured tipple of the bohemian intellects who notoriously frequented Café Royal throughout its history.
The perfect destination between Mayfair and Soho for those from east and west, the Green Bar at Hotel Café Royal is a unique addition to London.

The Green Bar team are delighted to bring you a selection of fresh summer cocktails, all starring our favourite spirit: Gin!
First up the Hinagiku with Tanqueray Red Imported, cucumber and ginger syrup, lime juice, shiso leaves, soda water and yellow Chartreuse liqueur. The shiso, an Japenese type of mint often used in traditional Japanese cuisine, brings out a refreshing summer flavour.

Great bar, very potent and well made cocktails, good service too. Lovely location, just a few mins walk from Piccadilly Circus. Great venue to meet friends and have a relaxing time in luxurious but unpretentious surroundings.

I was given the wrong beer because they were temporarily out of stock of the one I ordered. Within half an hour, the bar manager gave me a complimentary beer -

Great cocktails and a big thank you to Luca Gonzah (not sure of the spelling) who couldn’t have tried harder or been nicer it he had tried,
Not as many cocktails available as last time was there last summer...which was disappointing..although wot was on offer was outstanding and well mixed..very nice place to chill b4 going on the town.
