We celebrated our Wedding Day on Saturday 20th May at the Green Dragon and I cannot thank Karen and her amazing staff enough, you all worked so hard to make our day special and we can't thank you enough.. love from Mr and Mrs Parkin xxxx

The food was amazing & made fresh to order most handmade stuff, and the staff went out of their ways to make everyone feel at home, even the kiddies! Deffo recommend to anyone. My brother even got a free drink for his bday� xxx

Organised an 18th's birthday party in the private room, fantastic evening. Nothing was too much trouble, buffet plentiful and tasty. Lauren, who looked after the bar, and Tom, the DJ, were both fantastic. Thank you Karen, Angela, Lauren & Tom we would definitely recommend you as we would do it all again.

Me and Me Mam tried your food for the first time today. food very nice freshly cooked thankyou for providing the bowls so my mam could carry on eating her meal for tea.

Just been for tea,the staff are so nice and nothing was too much trouble.the food was great too, fetched a water bowl for the dog before we even asked .will be back.

I hired the function room out for my daughters 1st birthday party,, it was everything I wanted and more!! eveyone was so helpful and the room was perfect for the day :) I really highly recommend!!! Such a lovely pub inside and out will defo be hiring out again!!!

Booked last minute for 8 of us today. Very accommodating, all the staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. This was our first visit and we will definitely be returning. The food was all homemade and absolutely wonderful. Thankyou so much to you all � xxx

21 of us had a meal to celebrate our Daughter and Son-in-laws Annivèrsary and we had a lovely time. The staff worked really hard to make it a relaxing and enjoyable evening .

We visited yesterday with 2 children for lunch the dining area was nice and quiet and Looked out onto the kids play area out side so we Could keep an eye on them very lovely girl behind the bar and the Landlady came and chatted and then showed us around the function room could not wish for a friendlier place !

Walked up with my daughter and dog sat in the beer garden enjoyed the sun. Service was friendly beer was cold both child and dog happy! What more could you ask for??

Came here on Sunday for lunch with the fiancée and in-laws..... Found out to my horror that my hoopers sloe and plum drink has vanished, so settled on a dandelion and burdock.... Friendly girls who were serving deserve a mention, especially when it came to my food order.... Now in fairness should of took a picture!!! Because it was a Awesome chicken burger, with added extras of a extra chicken fillet, extra bacon and cheese.... Served with chips ( tasty ones) and salad..... Was very full and happy....

Now the fiancée had the cod and chips with mushy peas... That in itself was a hearty portion of food and was throughly enjoyed.... The in-laws were boring and had Sunday lunches.. He he he

So well done green dragon... Will probably be back as in-laws are regulars and live down "thee" Road.

I phoned up today to try and find some information about your disco nights. My young son and his partner were travelling up from Brighton for the weekend and wanted to go to a good disco so I said I would find them one.

The older woman who answered my call I asked what night do you do disco, what time did it start, what time it finished (I needed this info to arrange transport for them). I was also going to ask who the DJ was so I could inform my son as he is very knowledgable about DJ`s. The old woman sad that Iwas asing to many question and promptly hung up on me.

This made me think that there is something very dodgy about your disco night.

Sunday lunch yesterday. All fresh food. Homemade Yorkshire’s and a choice of small medium or large. Very good

Lovely staff but awful clientele. Old people completely unwelcoming. Several actually said I was not permitted in sections of the pub. This was not a privte function area just people who assume they have the right to dictate to others. And fire exits where blocked. Shame I was not welcome as the pub had a nice garden area but had a backwoods clicky feel.

I loved it when I was kicked out xmas eve after having the worst year of my life by some hispanic man on the run from the Portuguese mafia.
