Green Futures is a registered charity, we grow fruit and veg working with volunteers form the local community to provide a place to meet others, socialize, get active and garden. We also provide a veg-box scheme
Green Futures Description
We are a community business working with people of all ages in the Greater Grimsby area to create a sustainable, green future for us all.
Together we are able to grow food for the local community and supply veg boxes, improve our environment, create new jobs, and enhance everyone’s quality of life. Our gardening teams can transform gardens, under-used land, and public green-spaces into a productive food resource or amenity which benefits the health and wellbeing of the whole community and supports the local economy. We believe in cultivating more than just plants! We want to grow trust, creativity, honesty, respect and mutual support as we build on the foundations of the past to create an exciting future.
We are working with a number of community partners to achieve these goals.
Green Futures is a social enterprise which believes that enabling people to realise their full potential is the key to community regeneration. This belief is being worked out in the development of The Vanson Centre for Sustainable Living, in the Bradley area of Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire.
We are a social enterprise and rely entirely on funds we can raise and generate to continue our good work. Many people support our work by buying our produce and services. We also are happy to take donations.

Spring has sprung on site and the frogs have been busy in the wetland. Last summer in the heatwave the wetland dried up completely - it's lovely to see the water returned and it full of life! Photos by Wayne Lofts
We are digging up some kale plants today if anyone has any rabbits etc that they'd like to feed it to before we compost it!

green futers is a lovley place to go the pple there r great get one or two bad apples but ya get thm any were

This is the most amazing place, I spent about a year volunteering here and thoroughly enjoyed every day. I have multiple health issues and the staff couldn't have been more understanding or helpful whilst I was there. They work around the problems I have to be able to keep me involved with the day to day things that were needed doing. There were always plenty of things to get involved with and I had the chance to learn loads of stuff from the team that work there and other volunteers. If you have either physical or mental health issues I would highly recommend it a place to go if your interested in volunteering.
