Green Gables Hotel

What a lovely place to stay. Kids loved swimming pool, staff happy to help with anything rooms big and everything there that you need. Clean and comfortable. Will definitely be returning.

We was there last week with my daughter and two grandchildren loved every minute of it staff could not have done enough for us apartment lovely and clean and comfortable every thing we could have wished for food excellent will definitely be going back

We stayed here Saturday night for a short break in Scarborough with 3 children aged 14 11 and 4.

From the very warm welcome at the front desk to the very clean and comfy family room everything was excellent :)

The children loved the games room and the pool was lots of fun. Nice and warm and sgsin spotlessly clean.

Although we didnt dine here we heard several guests compliment the food and service.

The house is bursting with character.... i loved the entrance hall with the period flooring....

I would recommend a break here and will be booking again :)

In short it was a brilliant weekend all round....

We returned home today from a three night stay during Scarborough Cricket Festival. We have been staying here for years and it's just as good as ever. My brother and cousin stayed with us this time and they loved it too.

We loved it absolutley spot on for the money...1 problem was there was no hot water so had cold showers on the morning as noboady was in reception to notify. But soon as we told them the problem was rectified and the staff are friendly and more than helpfull :) No complaints what so ever highly recommend to anyone its spot on! Will be coming back without a doubt

Stayed here for two nights with two friends. Really good, extra parking access via next road. Tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Massive p bath. Helpful staff. Would recommend.

Stayed here for one night in a one bedroom self catering apartment. Double and single bed in one room,also has living room,kitchen,bathroom.Warm and clean rooms,pleasant staff always happy to help. Games room,swimming pool,bar. Just what we needed for a mini winter break. Bus stop close by to take you in to Town,but we walked and took us around 20 mins to walk in to Town. Breakfast available just ask at reception. ( Delicious) We enjoyed our stay that much that we have booked again,for later on in the year. Thank you Green Gables Hotel you are literally a hidden gem! xx

My kids are 17 and 9. They love it especially if it is miserable weather as the pool and games room keep them occupied. The bar also serves snacks and pizza so a bonus if you are pecking. Breakfast is great too.

Lovely hotel and all staff are helpful and very nice. Would definitely recommend and will be returning again soon

Just got back from a 3 night stay here. Myself, fella and 3 kids, 5, 7 and 8. We all loved it. A great old building full of character, clean, friendly staff, a pool and games room which the kids loved and great breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come again. Am sorry we had to leave it, and the lovely weather behind.

I love this place and cannot wait to come back. Staff are friendly and so helpful; the apartment we are staying in is perfect for us; and we love the pool! The hotel is right next to Falsgrave Park which is gorgeous and you're also close to the centre of town. Roll on our next visit!

Excellent place to stay, staff are friendly and helpful, kids loved the fact there is a swimming pool and games room and at night there's a bar for you to relax, place is a bit dated but it's a good price and it's a good base for your stay in Scarborough, could not fault out stay :)

Very good for family's.. clean and really nice staff.. good food until 10pm I felt really welcomed in this hotel and my daughter loved it games room for kids and swimming pool good for price

Stayed here twice now - It's a wonderful interesting building, friendly staff and...it is what it is, what it isn't is luxury BUT it's great for kids, everything works and it's clean..... and affordable - perfect for a traditional seaside holiday! We will no doubt be saying again at some point and I look forward to it

It must be 30 odd years since I stayed at this wonderful hotel. We used to have a week here every year with the Hopper family in charge and the fabulous Jean in charge of waitressing. I'd love to revisit sometime soon .great town, Falsgrave Park next door and the indoor pool with the Art Deco tiles!

Great a pool over the road what more can you ask for, weve had a letter saying that they might make flats piy of it pr they gonna knock it down and build new flats it would take 3years off building work less than 40 feet from our houses, but I haven't heard anything else bout it i hope they don't go thru with it let's all hope they don't xxxx
