We went for a meal last nite,looks nice after a refurb,staff were friendly and very helpfully, food was great,and good table service x

This afternoon we attended catch corner for a pre booked meal with around 30 members of our family and friends to celebrate my daughters 2nd birthday, booking with them was easy and the staff were so acommodating even though we were such a large party, the staff were very helpful with our guests and everyone was very happy with the food and the service ! We loved the function room we didn't have to worry about the kids bothering other diners and she had a lovely time , staff in the wacky were also very helpful and friendly , will recommend to anyone having a family meal for a celebration or even just dinner out, new layout is lovely .

Enjoyed our meals last night super we had the Indian banquet for one and a lamb shank mains and I had bannoffee pie . The meals were ample perfectly cooked and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very nice and I really would highly recommend. We will be going back soon

Came here for a family meal for my dads birthday. Food was great, but a special mention to Wendy in the soft play area was just amazing with us and the children! Will definitely be back!!

Came here today for father's day. It was the first time we've been here since christmas day and the place looks amazing!! As for the food, it was absolutely delicious - one of the best meals we've had in a long time . Staff were all polite & friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you - we're already looking forward to returning again soon!

Came Sunday for lunch, didnt realise it had been refurbished and changed hands as we were regulars of old pub chain,staff were very polite and friendly, drinks were ordered and came after 5 mins,food ordered and came within 20 mins, hubby had fish and chips, he enjoyed it but only had about 10 chips on his plate,son ordered Indian banquet which he enjoyed,I had beef dinner which was nice but rather mean with the beef and carrots were raw and gravy conjealed in places, was a lovely clean place with a limited menu and overpriced for food we received,doubtful we will return

Nice meal friendly staff. Kath was very helpful but a bit slow on service

Food was good but everything took so long waitress and manager walked passed the table countless times could see we were ready to order/ finished our meals in the end we had to ask each time we needed service

Went hear for a birthday meal, you have to give things a chance. After ordering drinks and finally getting servered, then after ordering food to tell us

Everyone arrived at one and about 40 minute wait after

Ordering was dissappointing. Food finally arrived and then arrived wrong somehow managed to whip up chicken skewers in 5

Mins, and to only have 3

Pieces of chicken On the skewer, no apology, no one asked if the food was ok during the

Meal! Won’t be going there again! Disssppointed

We got our starters before we even had drinks and most of us had finished our starters by the time we got drinks.



The mains took over an hour from then to arrive my egg was undercooked (I like my yoke runny but not the rest�) I didn't send it back as I didn't want to wait any longer.



Most of us ordered the warm chocolate fudge cake it was not warm no attempt had been made to warm it up, again we just ate it as it was given as we'd waited long enough and was getting fed up, the staff that served us (eventually) were friendly and polite, but having to get up to find someone to serve us 3 times was ridiculous

It was basic, I had the Indian banquet, it felt like it had been pinged. The naan was hard in places... for what we paid I wasn’t overly impressed

Diabolical service ! Long wait for food which wasn’t of high standard! And you don’t get what’s you ordered or what the menu says all in all terrible meal terrible service wouldn’t go again

Ate here 2 nights in a row as the Chinese was closed for refurbishment. Fish and chips first night, batter was soggy, ordered the cheeseboard but was only served cheddar instead of the selection on the menu with no explanation or reduction in price. Gammon the second night was better but on ordering desert and checking with the waitress, there were still only 2 cheeses available so I declined

Thpught we would give a local restaurant a chance. Manager thought it right to continue to call me sweetheart when I was complaining. Didnt bring out correct main meals. Steak was too chewy. Didnt give us a steak knife. When we needed a staff member they were nowhere to be seen. Didn't get pudding order right. Had to wait 20 minutes for the last pudding to arrive in which time they had cleared table and then argued, yes argued that they had already given us the pudding. Tried to charge us an extra £41 on the bill. In which case we went through the bill and told them of the items we hadn't ordered or had. They then removed them. Final bill came to £106.30. We paid £110. She then said is the change a tip? My reply wasnt the best. Felt they didn't care. Food was not nice and management need customer service skills. Will not be going back. Might I add the 1 star is for the team in the wacky warehouse. They were brill.

This was my first and last visit here. We were told there was a 45 min wait for food at first, not a problem. When we order we were told that the wait was 30 min. Food came out 1 hour later minus the dressing on the roast veg and rock hard batter on mom and dad’s fish. A family with small kids must has had a similar experience as you could hear a lady expresses how poor the service had been. We were offered a free pudding or round of drinks. This is no reflection on the staff, they must get unhappy customers all of the time, we were told that this is the way that their Rita’s are worked out so basically if it is busy it is tough! The company may think they are saving money on reduced staff but factor in lost profits on the night and lack of repeat visits then that is a no brainier. Again the waitresses were fine and I feel sorry for the flack that they must get. Carry on driving further down the road to the Weatherspoons for better tasting food at a better cost

The restaurant was good no issues same goes for the wacky, but in the wacky the staff are rude and unhelpful when it came to my daughters party! Very upset about the service we received as it was my daughters first birthday!
