Think Scottish MacNab but Not! Set in the beautiful Chalke Valley with a few differences. A great cause to get likeminded country folk together and raise money for the Benson Suite at Salisbury District Hospital. The Windwhistle MacNot will take place on Friday 3rd May 2019 at Windwhistle farm, each team of four guns will set out to complete the following:
50 Bird sporting layout over 5 stands. 100 Bird team flush.... 6 Arrow Archery Challenge. 10 Shot Rifle hill challenge. 10 Shot Slingshot Saloon
Arrival from 9:00am for breakfast, shooting will commence at 9:30. The team with the highest combined score will win the Windwhistle MacNot trophy which will be presented at the end of day prize giving. Various Pool shoots and High gun prizes to be won. Hog roast and Bar available at lunch. All profits will be donated to Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal Benson Suite
The 2019 MacNot has a new addition, the Slingshot Saloon, this consists of 10 shots with a catapult at 30 yards!
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FIBRE WAD ONLY SHOOT We will have a good selection of fibre wad cartridges that can be purchased on the day if required.
Cost of entry per team of four is £260.00 and this includes bacon rolls with tea or coffee on arrival as well as lunch from the hog roast or BBQ! We will be holding an auction at lunch with lots including, deer stalking, game shooting, hotel breaks and fly fishing at the famous Heal House!

We are delighted to be holding our first ever Blaser Demo event on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th of April 2019 at Windwhistle Farm, Bishopstone near Salisbury.
The event will showcase all of the latest models as well as some old favourites from the Blaser group including Blaser, Sauer, and Mauser rifles.
The famous R8 straight pull rifle will be on display in varying forms, if you are thinking of purchasing a Blaser, Sauer or Mauser this unique event is your chance to try the r...ifles on the range before you buy!
We will have the latest offerings from the Blaser shotgun range on display including the new F16, these demo guns are also available for you to try on the two clay shooting layouts provided.
All are welcome to attend this very special event although the rifle shooting is strictly controlled and you must pre-book to be able to shoot the rifles.
Rifle Shooting Firearms Certificate Holders Only (FAC):
We are extremely lucky to be able to provide you the chance to shoot the demo Blaser, Sauer and Mauser rifles, due to the nature of the sport this will be strictly controlled. We have only 56 allocated spaces available over the two days offering you a one hour time slot to go down to the range and use the rifle of your choice from a great selection of demo models.
To book your place on the rifle range we will require you to fill out the application form, the form can be collected from the shop or emailed to you so please feel free to contact us at info@greenfieldguns.com or pop into the shop in Salisbury.
Once you have completed your application form we will require a copy of your current Firearms Certificate (FAC) and a copy of your valid shooting insurance (BASC, NGO, Countryside Alliance) as well as a £50.00 booking fee. Please note the booking fee will be refunded on the demo day when you arrive together with your free bacon roll with tea or coffee.

Shotgun Shooting
We will have two clay shooting stands available for you to try all of the latest Blaser shotguns on, each stand will have two electronic clay traps for you to use. Booking is not necessary to try the Blaser shotguns so please feel free to turn up, a member of staff will be more than happy to take you over to the shooting stands with any Blaser shotgun you may wish to try. Clays and cartridges will be provided free of charge. No requirement to book.
Should you wish to pop along just for a chat you are more than welcome to, Swarovski will also be on hand with their latest offerings from their huge optics range.

We will be holding a massive stock clearance sale starting at 9am on Saturday 2nd of February 2019! Pop in and grab yourself a bargin with upto 75% off of selected clothing items. A fun 50 bird sporting layout will be designed and set across several stands making full use of the local landscape together with some help from one or two high towers!... A ten bird pool shoot will also be set to allow you to have some fun with friends or try a new gun!
We are delighted that many of our suppliers and manufactures will be able to attend with all of the latest models for you to browse and try including a healthy selection from our own gun racks.
The whole aim of our open day is for you to pop down and browse a selection of new and used guns in a relaxed atmosphere with the option to try guns on the fun sporting layout or pool shoot without obligation. We also encourage seasoned shots to come along and shoot some clays with friends or family, all are welcome!
Clays will be charged at a cost of 30p per clay and you can shoot as much or as little as you like.
Full BBQ refreshments will be available all day, and should the sun decide to come out as per previous years, we will be putting various sun shades and water points throughout the valley.

Purchased my first .22lr on my new FAC in Feb, excellent unhurried service from knowledgeable staff. Have returned a couple of times since. Well worth the 45 minute drive for me.

I rang to ask if a scope was still for sale,then got chatting about a new rifle. Matt was the guy I spoke to he ordered the rifle rang me 3 days later to say it had arrived I then drove 2hours to collect it the following weekend after he had put it together with moderator and scope then gave a discount on a rifle bag and rounds to use. I would recommend Greenfields very friendly, great knowledge,great service I would definitely use them again.

Great shop, friendly welcome been to other gun shops and felt ignored as im buying my first shotgun ,not here though very helpful couldnt fault a thing great advice and couldnt help enough as soon as my licence arrives i'll be travelling from bournemouth to make my purchase from greenfields 5 stars all the way.

Fantastic people and fabulous shop ,if you are looking for genuine advice and proper service then this is the place to go . .

I have no hesitation in recomending Greenfields to any of my shooting friends the shop has a very comprehensive range of guns , ammunition and country clothing all of which is competively priced , on top of this 3 gunsmiths on site !!
