Greenhalf Self Drive (Permanently Closed)

Will someone please tell me where Mike the mechanic has gone . Has looked after my car so well and I'm really loathed to take it elsewhere for its repairs and service.
If he's retired can anyone recommend another tried and tested mechanic in the same area....PLease!

A small firm but more professionalism than some of the bigger firms and willing to help at short notice.

One more sad customer -- have been using the firm for 17 years and have never found anything to complain about -- this will be a great loss not only to me but also to the local community.

No! You can't close!! Where am I going to get my car serviced and hire vans from now? Devastated to see you close, lots of love cat x

Nice family business.

They do indeed deduct a small amount of money to top up the tank, as perhaps they expect the van to fly on wings from any local petrol station and not use any fuel (e.g. £1.40). They then charge £10 admin fee for doing this. Vans are old and in poor condition, mine had two front tyres that were only just legal and a hand brake guaranteed to cause back injury, being located deep down in the driver's door footwell . They are nice people who in most respects are honest and helpful and I am sad that after many years I will not be using their service again.
