We visited Greenhill after my sister totally over horsed herself and had lost all her confidence. We were looking for something to give her the love and affection she needed to regain not only her confidence but also her love for horses. When we arrived we were greeted in such a friendly manner that I automatically felt relaxed. Upon meeting Luna (Pancake) we both felt so excited because she was so placid and gentle. We then went to the ménage to first watch Luna be ridden and then my sister rode her in the school and also took her out for a short stroll on the roads. Once back, myself and my sister went for a private talk to see how she felt, there was no pressure at all from Greenhill to confirm a sale. Even though Sophie had totally lost her confidence, she had a beaming smile and just wanted to take Luna home! We then spoke with Greenhill about the part exchange of our current mare and arranged the deposit to be paid. Luna flew through her 5 stage vetting and came home a few days later! Every aspect of dealing with Greenhill was both pleasant and felt extremely genuine. Thanks to them, my sister is now hacking out alone, jumping, schooling etc with all the confidence in the world, but the most important thing is that she has a horse that truly loves her and the bond they have really is lovely. I can't recommend them enough!

The most professional and friendly dealers I’ve ever dealt with! Enquired about one of their horses and spoke on the phone with Charlotte for over half an hour discussing everything to do with her and she made sure I knew everything about the horse in question and was very friendly and honest. Came to view the horse and the yard was beautiful, was allowed to spend time with the horse and tack up, watched her being ridden and signed an insurance form before getting on (I’ve never seen this done before but thought it was excellent) and whilst I rode was given advice and almost like a mini-lesson. Both the girls were incredibly helpful and even though the sale didn’t go through in the end I will always recommend Greenhill due to their honesty, friendliness and professionalism.

Rrefreshing to see you put these wonderful horses first from ppl who are only out to make money from them, its awesome for you to listen to other ppl and not let things go over your head, we must put animals first,they deserve so much more than be pushed from pillar to post by ppl who claim to care and al they care about is how fast they can sell them on with as many lies to go with them, massive well done GREENHILL so proud of you xxx

Purchased a horse, Lily Irish cob, last summer from Charlotte at Greenhill, very impressed. Beng our first own horse after loaning for many years we had a good idea of what we where in the market for, even so Charlotte spent good time on the phone talking with us and providing advice with no pressure. Everyone told us “Don’t buy from a dealer” but you shouldn’t worry about buying from Greenhill. Lily is exactly as she was described and Charlotte provided a full professional, hassle free and friendly service. Being a family purchase we took the kids along who were aloud to try Lily out aswell. Charlotte arranged transport for Lily and she arrived as arranged and is now well settled with us. Thank you 😀 🐴

Most certainly a place I would look at for a horse in the future after hearing about their integrity and welfare of their horses above profit. Well done x

I've had excellent recommendations for Greenhill Equestrian from people that I know and trust. They put the horse's welfare before a sale and are genuine and professional.



I'm sorry that you're getting hassle from someone who is widely known to be, let's say, less than honest but congratulations on maintaining your integrity with good grace and with the horse at the forefront. A good example to the horse community.

I haven’t personally bought from green hill however through the grapevine that they have turned away one of their sales due to concern for the future well being of their horse. I will certainly be purchasing my next horse from here!! Very well done even if you are getting a lot of grief now xx

I have now heard through the grapevine that greenhill equestrian are a fantastic business to buy from.

They have been alerted as to a buyer whom has no scruples and would buy any horse under false pretences. What was their action? It was to put their horses before their cash and in the most polite of ways, decline the sale.

I can't rate Greenhill enough from the start to finish then ongoing support and interest during the purchase process.i gave them a long wish list with temperament and road safety a priority to gain back confidence.I tried Romeo with a view to finding the perfect horse that Greenhill would then go and search.From the moment I tried him I was sure he was right.There was no pressure to buy and they even offered to bring him to my house to try in the very busy traffic I hack out in which he passed with flying colours and has been here ever since.He is everything they said he would be and we have enjoyed all rc activities since.Having had such a good experience 4 weeks later we went back to find Owen a pony that he could learn on.They had 3 he could try but when we arrived they suggested 1 was not going to be suitable due to the level of experience which demonstrates how professional they are and they really want to match riders and horses. Bonnie was the 2nd pony he tried and they bonded instantly.Again a perfect match and they are now happily doing everything together,I didn't expect her to sj but she loves it!Buying a horse is a minefield but finding people like Greenhill makes it a much easier and pleasant experience and to have 2 such good horses from the same place speaks volume.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I brought the lovely Branston from Charlotte and Cara at Greenhill Equestrian. They were brilliant from start to delivery! I had recovered physically from a nasty fall and was looking to buy a safe horse mainly for hacking. My confidence had taken a hit so I had a very long tick list. Charlotte spent a long time listening to me on the phone and suggested I go and meet Branston! He is everything I needed and we are having the best time! At no time did I feel pressured or judged. The whole experience was made so easy by them both. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable! We had a lovely hack out with Cara and I felt so safe. I cant recommend Greenhills enough, they even arranged delivery. Just brilliant! Thank you so much �

I bought my lovely mare Daisy (Molly) from Greenhill nearly 3 years ago. Daisy is a beautiful, kind, quality cob just as she was advertised. Greenhill are very genuine and experienced ladies and several of my friends have also purchased their horses from them, all happy and lovely horses. I'd always go to Greenhill if looking again.

I bought my boy Flynn (aka Alan) from Charlotte and Cara a week ago, and I couldn’t be happier, he puts a smile on my face everyday. He is everything they told me he was and more. They were very helpful from my first contact with them. They are totally professional and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend purchasing a horse from them .

How wonderful it it to see a business putting the welfare of its animals before profit. Greenhill Equestrian didn't hesitate to take action when alerted that an unstable home was trying to secure one of their lovely horses under false pretences. This was dealt with in a calm professional manner with the horse wellbeing a priority over a sale.
