We are a very forward thinking busy and fun yard that offers quality tuition and 5* livery to a variety of clients. We hold camps, clinics, lots of coaching sessions, fun rides and hacks. ... We teach the teeny tiny children through to advanced dressage and event riders. We have a great reputation and whoever joins us is invited to continue with their training and bring their own horse if they have one to continue to train and compete if they so wish. We offer a wide range of opportunities to all the staff including cross country, dressage and show jump training and competing. Hunting, fun rides and lots of hacking in the amazing Cirencester Park. We encourage all staff to continue their education and gain qualifications and develop skills in the equine industry so we offer time to attend first aid courses, safeguarding and ongoing CPD courses to become a BHS accredited Professional and bi-weekly coaching from Nathalie.

We have an exciting time ahead of us this year with a range of camps and courses to suit all ages and abilities.
We start with our TWO DAY TRAINING CAMP on the 26th and 27th of May. This is an adults camp with a variety of coaching sessions on each day and with lectures and demos included in the weekend it promises to be informative, fun and progressive, so you leave feeling better equipped to enjoy your Summer with the horses. All lunches will be provided and our schoolma...sters are available for those of you without a horse. If you require accommodation for yourself we have our lovely barn available with up to four double bedrooms. If you want to bring your horse and it isn’t stabled with us, we can arrange livery for you at the yard. The cost is £250 for the two days inc hire of our horses or £210 if you have your own. DIY livery is £20 per day and accommodation is £50 pppn self catering in the evening. If you can only sneak away for one day then the cost is £140 including lunch.
HALF TERM ACTIVITIES for the children: KIDS TWO DAY RESIDENTIAL CAMP This year we are offering a two day camp on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May for our over 10’s. We have lots of fabulous horses and ponies and this year we are able to offer an overnight stay so the children can enjoy the atmosphere of living with the horses. All meals provided. All staff and coaches are DBS checked, child safeguarding and first aid qualified and will be staying overnight with the children. We will have two days of fun, jumping, hacking and loving the pony life. The total cost is £200 per child inclusive of everything.
LED HACK: Thursday 30th May 11.15am This is a hack into Cirencester Park on your pony being led from another horse so we can travel further. You must be able to do rising trot and stay on board without being held. This is designed for our younger riders but not teenies! One hour and the cost is £25 each. Limited numbers.
JUMPING CLINIC: Friday 31st May 10.30-12 noon- first group, Novice ( Max 5) 12.15 - 1.45 - second group more advanced ( Max 5) This will be followed by a show jumping competition at 2pm on the horses you have ridden in the clinics. Rosettes to be won! Cost in total for the clinic and entry fee is £40. Please bring a packed lunch.

Today was all about show jumping. Having been inspired by Badminton, Millie and Moss competed in her first ever show jumping class. She was rewarded with a lovely clear round. Well done Mille. Onwards and upwards. Jo took Mikey for a spin and was 4th in their class. Not bad for an old boy. Martha also took part in her first competition on her fabulous new pony, Dougal. She started her campaign with an easy clear round. Well done to you both.

We had a fabulous pub hack through Cirencester Park today. Spring is well and truly underway, and The Park is looking glorious, resplendent in its fresh, green overcoat.
A predictably superb lunch was enjoyed by everyone at The Daneway.

Happy Easter everyone. Our fun day and egg hunt today was our final activity of a very busy fortnight. Hundreds of clients have been to enjoy our horses, tuition, games and hacking and we are, as always, very grateful for everyone’s enthusiasm and support and I must say a colossal THANK YOU! to my Greenhill Family for working so hard over the holidays. We are now taking a breath and are closed on Friday but we have a full schedule on Saturday. We then pick up again on Tuesday. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy this beautiful weather. 😊

Today was the VWH fun ride on our doorstep in Cirencester Park so some of The Greenhill Family took advantage of our location and trotted up the hill to join in. Flame, Bluebell, Hugo, Moss, Lady, Bolly and Dougal all had the best fun. A great way to spend a Sunday.

It’s another bumper week at Greenhill. Today was our teen hack and despite the weather everyone had a good time. We have very few spaces left this week but if you haven’t booked anything yet give us a ring and we can see if we can squeeze you in.

We are still on the look out for more horses and ponies on loan for the Spring/Summer, short and long term loan or working livery. We offer a very varied and fun life for the horses and they are restricted to only 6 hours of lessons or hacks a week. We need 12.2 - 15.2 ponies, aged over 6 with no vices, laminitis and sweet itch unless it can be controlled. The ponies live out in herds and have 5* care from professional, caring staff. Many references available and you can visit your horse or pony as often as you like.

PLEASE NOTE LUNCH IS NOW FULL BUT THE RETURN HACK IS STILL AVAILABLE, TRANSPORT AVAILABLE: Pub ride to The Daneway Sunday 28th April. 11am We will be hacking a group of riders across The Park to the pub for lunch. This is a one way ride so we can enjoy our lunch without worrying about the horses. If you do not want to have lunch then why not meet us at the pub and hack one of the horses home. The hack will be around an hour and a half each way. The price: one way to the pu...b and roast lunch - £60 not including beverages. We are very excited to be able to offer residential holidays and courses from April to October. We have a brand new barn conversion available with three double bedrooms. Livery available for your horse if you choose to bring one, or you can ride one of our schoolmasters. We cater for children and adults and families are welcome. Wow what an amazing yard and the staff at Greenhill are lovely and helpful . We was given an opportunity for our pony to go and stay at Greenhill on loan whilst our daughter regians her confidence it was a very hard decision for us to make but now 6 weeks on we know it was the best decision as chase has an amazing new home and a great future ahead of him with expert tuition chase looked amazing and seemed really settled thank you natatie xx and all your team up at Greenhill equitation centre (5 stars ain't enough )

Working at Greenhill as a working pupil- Nat made sure that we were working in a structured, high standard and friendly environment, with plenty of rewards and laughs. Staff meals, hunting and competing as well as regular teaching and daily yard duties so there was plenty of variety to the work. Encouraged to take exams- lots of training was provided. Very team oriented yard, everyone mucks in to get the job done. Nat has taught me skills and a work ethic that has carried me forward in future jobs. I have genuinely made friends for life at Greenhill and remember my time there fondly.

Well after been off not riding for nearly 2 month, due to a dodgy hip. Nathalie and her team at Greenhill’s have been fantastic at helping me with my boy! Nothing was too much trouble and I am very pleased to be back on my boy today! Onwards and upwards! Can’t thank you enough! Now looking forward to the future as I am not the most confident of riders! But with Nathalie and her team behind me I know I will get there!

My wife and daughter had a terrific lesson the day before where they both learnt something. We are regular riders and only wish we had discovered these stables years ago! NB they need to improve their google search criteria. We look forward to our next ride!

I worked for Nathalie for 5.5 years in which I went from having my BHS stage 1 and little confidence to having my BHS stage 4, AI and more confidence. I developed a range of skills including how to make a beautiful muck heap! The yard was friendly and professional. Fantastic facilities in beautiful surroundings and countryside. Could not recommend more highly.

I worked at Greenhill full time for 4 years. I continued part time for some time after. Working for Nathalie I gained my training for my BHS exams and a wealth of experience. I can honestly say that Nathalie's attention to detail and care of the horses is second to none. I loved my time working at Greenhill. The riding is idillic the facilities are great and well maintained. The tuition is correct and sympathetic to horse and rider. I highly recommend Greenhill Equitation.

I worked at Greenhill Equitation back in 2004. My learnings there were invaluble to my career today. I recently returned for some training on a young green horse, we had a brilliant session with Nathalie which was, as always a very productive and educational experience. I was also pleased to be greeted by happy, smiling staff.

I moved to Greenhill in the beginning of April and my horse settled straight away. He needed to go back into his routine as he was doing very strict rehab. I was really impressed how happy he was form day 1, the yard itself is very calm and relaxed, the girls that looking after the horses are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and the yard it's kept to a really high standard. The stables look pristine all the time and the beds are big and fluffy, My horse is groomed for me and ready to be ridden. The facilities are amazing with indoor school, outdoor arena, XC course and the hacking is beautiful and hot water always ready to be used, this is lush! Nathalie is very friendly and welcoming and the place is running at very high standard to meet every need. High recommended

I have recently started weekly lessons here after a long break from riding regularly and my daughter is about to start lessons too. I highly recommend Greenhill. The staff, in fact everyone are very friendly, welcoming and approachable, which means so much when you are a little apprehensive and rusty. The location is stunning, on the edge of Cirencester Park offering beautiful hacking opportunities. Nathalie is a fantastic teacher; tailoring each lesson to your ability, she is very friendly and a great confidence giver making each lesson lots of fun!

I came to visit the area for a few days. After seeing the gorgeous wide open spaces of Cirencester Park I just wanted to ride through it. After reading the reviews, I enquired about going on a hack. The experience surpassed my expectations, which were already quite high. The staff and customers were so friendly and eager to help. They gave me Paddy to ride. A beautiful chunky cob with lots of character. After an hours hack through the park on those wide open spaces I had dreamed of riding, I really felt I wanted to go and do it again. Unfortunately I don't think my unfit body could take it. However, Paddy, was eager to go again. The thrill of the ride on a responsive, forward going but controllable horse with big ears and a cheeky personality, will always make me smile. Would definitely recommend you to give this place a try if you can. I'm hoping to come back soon.

But then working with horses isn’t easy anywhere (trust me I know!). What I will say is that if you are genuinely wanting to make a career in this industry then Greenhill is the place that will give you all the tools you need do so. Nathalie has the expertise to help you go in any direction you wish whether that be competing, teaching or training for exams but it comes at a price and that price is hard work. If your willing to get stuck in with a great team of people and look after some amazing horses then Greenhill is where you need to be. I like it so much I still work part time! ☺️

Greenhill provides the most beautiful setting for a ride! Nathalie took care to pair us all up with a suitable pony based on our experience. We had a lovely hour before coming back for a cream tea! Highly recommended, can’t wait to go back.

It also has amazing indoor and outdoor facilities which means you can ride in comfort whatever the weather or time of year. My daughter Evie has ridden here for the past 5 years from the age of 4, and she loves it! As well as weekly lessons, Evie regularly joins in with the school holiday activities which are so much fun and help her riding enormously. Lovely horses and ponies, great instructors, and always friendly and professional.
