Greentrack Events

It's one of those 'sahara' cycles at the moment. From the sublime extremely slippery and difficult to drive mud, to the total opposite; exceedingly dry and grippy However, all the basic skills to keep on the 'line' are required, ability, concentration and skill ! We had a couple of occasions in the wet season when I have had to raise my voice slightly just to ensure that we were not irrevocably bogged down ! The clients were totally understanding and even thanked me for keep...ing them on the straight and narrow. Part of the experience I suppose. The Austin Champ is now part of the forthcoming deals after 3 years under the spanner, and is a treat to drive. Still not totally complete but slowly getting there. The Humber APC has done marvelously this past 12 months and she too need a bit ot TLC here and there. The L/R 101 has been used for two weddings besided giving admirable service on out tracks, putting many smlies on many faces, and we are looking forward to a busy summer. When you fancy a drive with your friends, you know there we are.

Well, all the deep mud that we have been moaning about has gone ! Still very slippery in places and needs lots of attention still to navigate around without problems.I think that a good shower on a Friday night would be perfect! Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

At last we now have our Austin Champ back after a considerable amount of restoration works. It's been away a long time and cost a lot of money but I had forgotten what it was like to drive again ! Whilst the weather is not ideal, a bit chilly, to say the least,its marvelous to to take out and about locally ! It's still not 100% yet but we are getting there ! We will be offering it as a third drive option to the Humber APC and the ex artilley tractor on our Bournemouth site an...d also for weddings. Great for those ex and current military people looking for something different, or anyone esle in fact who is looking for something besides the usual 'limo.' for their special day. After a very wet spring, our site is slowly drying out, thank goodness, and gets more driver friendly with every passing week. Soon it will be the opposite, no doubt, and we will all be crying out for a bit of the wet stuff ! Any queries etc do call us.

A really excellent muddy drive last Saturday ! Guys did really well to manage the trying conditions. Could do with a bit more drying out, a nice bit of easter sunshine, so that new clients get the best of both worlds !

Had to cancel Saturdays drive due to the fact that the tracks were invisible and to miss one spells trouble !

Something new for us ! We used our 101 Forward Control for a wedding at the weekend ! Bride and Dad, all done up in tails, bride looking beautiful, picked up ftom Lymingtom centre, from there to Highcliffe Castle for the ceremony. 101 all bedecked out to suite the occasion, Dad was ex services and we even had his old regimental Stadard aboard, quite a surprise for him, as were the whole of the arrangements ! Lots of guests wow'd at the bridal transport ! Weather was perfect, an excellent do. Will give it serious thought for the future !

If you can put together a small group ie 5 +, then the antroducer drives completely free of charge !We will also put on a free BBQ and a longer drive than usual, all for the price of only £42.50pp !

An excellent stag drive last Saturday ! Great crowd, bit of air gun, blind fold tent errecting and good weather for the BBQ ! Come and book while prices are low. Not too much mud now due to lack of rain! PS We are now associated with a local first rate paintball company so if you fancy a bit of that, you know where to come, usual thing, stag, hen, parties, corporate etc etc.

Normally I write on the Miltracks page, but as I hav'nt written on this one for ages I fancied a change. Another great client drive, even got a tip ! Really slippery, especially in the Humber, kept having to use the 4 wheel drive to keep going, even on the slightly down hill parts of the course ! Am in the process of getting a wheel off the 101, annoying slow puncture. Went to day and guess what ? The jack that I took must have had a few too many pints as it only got half way up ! Now have to fix and return again, Se la vie !

Thank goodness for some overnight rain ! Lovely and slippery, challenging for all the drivers and lots of fun ! Luckily missed all the dodgy really soft parts hence no one stuck.

We had a really great time, nice chap who runs it, loved every minute of it.

My husband and father had a great time driving the ex military vehicles. Peter was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure the experience was a memorable one. I would definitely recommend Greentrack Events. Great fun and excellent value for money!

Excellent experience! Drove 2 ex military vehicles. Peter was an excellent instructor, very patient, knowledgeable and loves these vehicles.

Rain the night before made for some lovely deep puddles and lots of mud. We did end up going off the off-road track into the farmers field, got stuck in the mud and had to be towed out with the other vehicle. It all added to the experience and would thoroughly recommend booking direct.

An amazing day out. Peter and John were superb hosts and our group of 8 had an absolutely fantastic day out with them. The price was very reasonable, length of the day was just right and if anyone is considering using this guys for their event then I would highly recommend it.
