We are part of an international education movement of schools which share a creative approach to education with child development at the heart of all we do. Our tried and tested educational method builds on the individual’s strengths and supports every child to find their unique destiny. We emphasise the role of the imagination in learning and the role of creativity in thinking. Our educational approach has a long track record of producing well-rounded, creative individuals who can think for themselves and who are capable of influencing and changing the world in which they live – strengths and qualities that college, universities and employers value in Steiner School graduates.
Greenwich Steiner school offers a Playgroup (run by our sister organisation, Acorns), 5 Kindergartens, a lower school comprising 5 years and a Middle School (3 years) taking the pupils to age 14. The Middle school curriculum is designed to prepare pupils to continue their education either in Steiner Waldorf Upper Schools or in mainstream schools.
