Volunteers needed! We would love to hear from you if you would be interested in researching the lives of people who lived here in the workhouse at Gressenhall, as part of the More Than Oliver Twist project! This role requires candidates to have access to family history research databases from home and the relevant skills to carry out this research. During our closure we will try our upmost to share new images from the farm for you. For instance, we have to say we udderly adore our three new calves. #FarmFriday
Further to our announcement yesterday that Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse is closed for the forceable future, we want to ensure that people receive a refund for events booked from now until the end of April. To protect the welfare of our visitors, volunteers and staff, Norfolk Museums Service have taken the difficult decision to close all sites from Thursday 19 March. Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse will remain closed until further notice. We will continue to update our website and social media with the latest information.

Gressenhall Farm was delighted to welcome 7 piglets yesterday afternoon. These piglets are a traditional East Anglian breed of Large Black Pigs.
