Meet David!
He will be completing two half marathons and a 10 miler to raise money for the Grief Encounter.
“My Mum passed away in 2007 and my Dad in 2015. Although by 2015 I was myself a father to 2 kids, it is still very difficult for me to come to terms with their deaths and to talk about it. Some days there is nothing I want more, (even at the age of 37!) than a cuddle off my mum! Or even just to have a pint with Dad before watching the football.”

i only wish such a group as Grief Encounter existed years ago for all of us who had to manage our loss our trauma without any like support..... but i am more than pleased that a body such as GE now exists and is there for all those children that suffer close familial loss (mother father etc.) at so early an age...... who desperately need back up...... more than admirable....

Wonderful charity. We are lucky enough to have counsellors coming to the school I work in to help support bereaved children.
