One of the few old school grounds left. Love this place.
Having queued for twenty minutes at half time for a veggie pasty, they had sold out... So I asked for a bag of crisps.. Any crisps... But they had sold out. No beer... so settled for a diet Coke...which turned out to be Pepsi. I would suggest Brentford catering team know about as much about catering as the ref knows about refereeing... Clearly nothing at all. I stood the whole second half sipping warm Pepsi as I couldn't sit down in the meagre leg room provided. How very short Brentfordians must be! Very poor experience all round... including the football. Not recommended. Go to the dentist instead.... It will be more fun.
Really friendly stewards. Be aware no where to park near the ground used the Premier Inn car park at £1.40 per hour so not bad for London.
Proper old style ground, up close and personal with all the action. Must be the best ground in the league if you enjoy a pint with your footy as there are loads of friendly pubs in the area.
Nothing better than a Griffin Park game under floodlights. Just two seasons now to savour this gem of a ground.
Good old school stadium, it is going to be a shame when it goes. I was in the away end on the terrace and it was great. Especially as we won. No alcohol served and the card machine was broken so I couldn't pay by card. No re-entry so they missed out on considerable pie sales!
Tremendous day out, kids loved it, real friendly and honest feel to the place will be back again
Best football team in the world a one off match day visit will stay with you forever.
